There are now 3 kinds of Scarface DVDs in circulation
1. Collectors Edition - The "Collectors Edition" came out a few years ago. The quality of the picture is shitty as fuck, probably from a crappy dub job onto the DVD format. However, the DVD went out of print, causing original copies to sell for $30-80 each on eBay. These versions come with an insert.
2. Fake Coll. Editions/Imports - Because everyone and their mom wants Scarface and it was no longer available from any source (retail stores dried up first, then Columbia House ran out), people started getting bootleg/import copies. These work, but can be distinguished from real CEs because of their colors and lack of insert the real CE's have. These typically go for $10-20 on eBay.
3. Official Re-Release - The new re-release is a collectors box, the 1983 Scarface, the original 1932 Scarface, and other shit... retails for $44.95.
