Scammed??? How long should I wait?

I ordered my gear on the 25th...the turn around time is suppose to be 7-12 days...the source e-mailed me saying that the package was sent out on the 26th. I still haven't got it and haven't got a letter from customs. The source is keeping in contact with me and the last e-mail he sent he said that it might have got snagged...and when I get a letter he'll resend. What do you think??

Sometimes packages do get lost with international mail.
In that case you wont get a letter or anything in return.

Yes, this is first order. The only thing that makes me think he's legit is that he is keeping in touch.

It is unusual for a parcel to ''just go missing'' but i have heard that recently 3 packages sent from UK (which usually takes 7 days) have taken 6 weeks but they did turn up.

If seized you usually get a letter within 14 days.

If he says he will resend then ask him to do so.

I just got some shit seized and it took them over 6 weeks to send a customs letter. I bet it got seized and they are testing the products. Expect either a seizure letter or a controlled delivery. Clean your house and refuse the package either way.

If you refuse a controlled delivery, would you ever get a customs letter???? A controlled delivery would just be the post-man asking for a signature, right??

Without a customs letter, would there be a way to get a source to resend??

If he is domestic (**) There are a lot of people missing packages. I have been waiting over a month now.

It is very rare for packages to just not show up but I know from experience it does happen. The source should resend in accordance to their resend procedure and hope that if the original order does arrive they will pay for the one resent. This is where trust is needed on both sides. i would say a tme of around 3weeks would be enough to say that the package is not going to arrive.

The mailing system is very tempromental and sometimes stuff sent Express arrive in 8 days while others sent Standar mail arrive in 6????????

4 months later I wrote it off, he was in England.

On the fifth month it showed up?

You never know, do your source checks first.

I cant even tell you how many orders I have made, but can tell you how many times I've been scammed, Zero. Last order took only 7 days, thanks bro. Oh, and by the way, the only reason I havent been scammed is from good source checks, and pay the extra and order domestic.

Are people still having problems with him? I know when everyone was having probs a few months ago I got my package in 10 days so I'm not sure what was happening. He's definitely my number one place to get my things so I'm kinda curious on whether it's a safe bet or not

As BWI has correctly stated sometimes orders do go missing but it is very rare. A GOOD source will always abide by their resnd policy and as the mail system is extremely tempromental i have seen them take up to 6-8 weeks but most in 7-10 days max.

If you do get a resend and the original prder does make a show then it is imperative that you return or pay so as not to make the source think twice about their resend policy. There must be an element of trust.

I also know many UK sources will send just normal mail (so as customer does not have to sign) this is not a problem but does mean you do not get a tracking number but often safest for not getting seized. Good sources will still honour their resend policy though.

Lincoln, who was the Uk source (mail me i might be able to help) as not many will scam UK to UK as it is a small country and people are easily traced!
