Saying goodbye is tough....

On vacation...I went to visit the little woman for a few days. It was my first visit to her place...ever. I loved it there and it really confirmed my feelings for her...and for an "US". Yes, she is the one...I feel it.

The toughest thing that I have had to do in a long time was to give her a hug and a short kiss goodbye and head back to Kentucky. It was a hard walk to my truck after I said a little goodbye...very hard walk. I can't say that I didn't cry just a bit as I turned around...but who wouldn't?

Guess I have never had to say goodbye like that before...just hard to do.

Talking on the phone just doesn't make up for those times when you lay in bed and laugh together. It is hard to replace that feeling when you wake up in the morning and you have each other in your arms. When she hits that snooze button a few extra times just to roll back over and put her arm around you for 9 more minutes.

I guess I just miss my little woman.

Yes...and I just called her (woke her up) just to say goodnight and that I miss her. I may have thrown in one of those...."and have a kick tail workout tomorrow" 's to..haah.

I just miss her...things feel so "right" when she is around.

Well, personally, I would rather miss someone that I know I will see again soon, than missing someone I used to love and being mad at the same time like how I'm feeling right now. I doubt that will make you feel any better, but it's true.

We are constantly apart...yet so together. It is so hard to explain. It is like...she is just like me...except smaller, with blue/green eyes, not quite as strong, from Tennessee, straight hair, small feet and hands, drives a Ford car, has her own apartment, has a tattoo, has a belly button ring, etc... Except for all that...it is just like being around someone just like myself...but someone who drives me wild inside.

I swear...you should have seen the look in her eyes when she realized that I was singing Hank Jr. last weekend in that bar in Atlanta. Or when we realized that we both knew the words to "Dinosaur" by Hank Jr. You should have heard her laugh when I was singing in her shower (and she was 2 rooms away on the computer). I mean...is the song "My ding-a-ling" really that funny?

lived what your going through for three years Bfold...It was never easy, no shame in crying. I use to watch her car go one way down the highway while my car went another...I almost drove off the road many times trying to get one more glimpse of her face.

Leaveing the one you love, and knowing that you will not feel her touch or embrase her warmth for a week or two is never easy. Unfortantly for myself I left one Monday morning after spending the night with her in bed, I drove down the highway for the last time that day...I have never seen her since.





but you and night fly are so ment for each other
just think the pain of leaveing her will soon be replaced by the joy of seeing her

You should have left a token for her to remember you by. I would have given her the "fogger". What is the fogger, you might ask. I will tell you. Wear the same shirt to the gym twice, without washing it. Let it sit in the trunk of your car for a week or so. When it is good and ripe, place this little seed of stank somewhere it will not be found. Behind a drawer of a dresser works extremely well, because it will make all of her clothes stink. the odor will permeate the entire room you have hidden it in before long. (She will be eternally greatful
