Individuals supplement with Saw Palmetto in order to slow down the conversion of Testosterone to DiHydroTestosterone, right? Excessive amounts of DHT, which the body fails to rid iself of, accumulates in certain areas of the body, especially the prostate gland and the scalp, right? Do you think there would be any risks involved for a young person, 17-20, to start supplementing with it in order to prevent inevitable hair loss? Many sources warned against supplementation during a time while one's body may still be developing, especially with something that influences hormones, but I want to hear from other sources who may have used personally, or know about Saw Palmetto.
