i've got a few thousand shares of sirius that i bought in the low $1 range...

sirius has traded with the highest volume for the past few days. they're about to hit 100,000 subscribers(supposedly already have, just haven't announced it yet). the stock has solid potential to be another ebay or yahoo. pick some up, hold onto it, and watch your money multiply

The sound quality through the data encryption via satellite is garbage. It's worse than some FM stations... and if you are smart.. btw, it's possible to get it for free. look at the most recent 2600.

ps. the amt of bandwidth licensed to them is smaller than that of FM radio.. remember they are sending txt info along with the musical data of album/artist/title.etc..

XM is going to be broadcasting all MLB games starting next season. Sirius broadcasts NFL games, but anyone who cares about football is watching it on Sunday.

XM has the Opie and Anthony show. Sirius is getting Stern in January who is following O&A by going to satellite.

I prefer XM. I bought the Roady with adapters for my car and barracks room so I don't have to get more than one subscription.
