did anyone see the interview with arrington? it was great. he said his comments to sapp with a straight face. it was just like wrestling.
Dude sapp is a big mouthed fat f_ck.... He is good, but he is nowhere as good as he thinks he is. He and some of the primadonnas on that team (simeon rice) only do well 1) because of the system is tailored to thier strenghts and 2) cause they are loaded.... if they had to tough it out on a lesser team they would cry until they got trades (see simeon rice)

brian dawkins is the man! reminds me of the great secondary the eagles had back in the day(andre waters and wes hopkins) now those were bad muthafuckas! they said on sports center that they were going to try and intentionally hurt emmit smith and end his carrer...sapp doesnt hold shit on any of them...and jerome brown would make him look like a bitch...IMO, that eagles D was 10x's better than the bucs...brown, eric allen, reggie white...c'mon!

I think that's a pretty classless act to run through the other teams warmups. Why not let your playing do the shit talking? Like that jack ass (I think it was Terell Owens) who kept dancing on Dallas's star everytime he scored or some shit. It may have been Randy Moss or Keyshawn Johnson. IMO all three of the fuck heads have terrible attitudes. Sapp is right up there with them.

This thread amuses me on so many levels. Most of the people that are attacking Sapp are quick to call him FAT. Show me one fucking NFL Tackle that isn't...besides if you called him fat to his face I am sure his response would be "so?".
Arrington, a LB, that is 40-50lbs lighter than Sapp, a DT, is faster???! Well no shit...I would fucking hope so...or he shouldn't have a job? Come on...
If Sapp isn't as good as he thinks he is then why do opposing coaches pay so much attention to him? I mean it was stated that Sapp is only good because his team is stacked...if that is so...then why are they TRIPLE TEAMING him at the line of scrimmage, freeing up that primadona Simeon Rice for 4 sacks in one game?
I like Sapp because he plays the game wide open, and he never forgets it is a game....he has fun. Some of the stuff he pulls is pretty stupid...but he is a grown man getting paid to play a game. What he does in the pregame/postgame, or on his off day are of little concern to me. I don't play for the Bucs, they aren't "my team"..I just watch. Once he is between the stripes and the whistle blows...he does the work...and there are few if any that are better.
Bottom line...Tampa won...Washington lost...its a team game.

I'm fron the DC area and I'm a huge Redskins fan.
You guys need to get up off or LaVar's nuts.
They are both impact players. And I like them both probably equally.
I think LaVar is overrated. yes I said it. I think he needs to work on his game more and talk less.
I think Sapp is appropriately rated. He gets double teamed almost every single play. He also got 2 sacks in the game (granted one was in garbage time).
There is something a little off about him but I think he also is pretty grounded and just an awesome player. Did you guys ever see that lineman's challenge a few years ago? Warren wiped the floor with those guys. One of the events was an incline bench press contest. It started around 275 and people kept dropping out. I think 2 or three guys got 315, and the other two besides Sapp were struggling to get it. Sapp put 385 on there and pressed it like it was 225. One guy attempted it and failed miserably and the other guy didn't even want to embarrass himself.
Also when Sapp went from getting mad sacks to getting hardly any stats at all I didn't hear a peep out of him. Meanwhile LaVar talks about himself in the 3rd person and whines when he doesn't get to play exactly how he wants to.
I'd love to see them play on the same team, and I think Sapp would teach LaVar a few things. Sapp is one of those Sam Adams or Tony Siragusa type of guys. Really blue collar.
