A quick question for the ladies, how much is the normal fee for a hair cut at a salon.
My wife paid $35 for just a cut the other day. Is this normal, low or high?

I'm not questioning the amount of money she spends. We spend money like water.
If it makes her happy she can have it, she works hard to make our house a home and my daughter and I greatly appreciate her efforts. I was questioning the salon price, that's all.

I also live in central jersey. It costs me about $40 for a haircut. I'd say $35 is pretty average.

I'd say $35 was fairly average. Anywhere from $40 to $70 is pretty average

If it was just for a cut (no color, etc.) then that's on the low end of average. I'm in the Southeast. My cut is 40 and color is 90.

Well, where I live it is 6 hours to one of them fancy schmancy salon things but we do have a "beauty shop" and hair cuts are NINE BUCKS, it used to be seven and when they raised the price my husband started shaving his head because hell would freeze over before he paid $9 for a haircut when he didn't have any hair left anyway.

I have no idea! I get all of my haircuts-n-shit for FREEEEEEE!
(the dude and his wife are good friends of the family and he's the only one who's been cutting my hair since I was 2) <<<UNTIL I stupidly went to a different place to get a "new stlye", and started paying $55! Then she fucked up my hair BIGTIME when she cut, colored and "styled" my hair ..................$105!!! FUCK THAT SHIT! My hair was so short I couldnt run my fingers through it!
So I just stick to coloring my own hair, I do a pretty damn good job too...........good enough to get asked if I'm a hairdresser! Which reminds me, I have to throw in some more darkness, then I'll take a few pics and post! (like ya'll really care, but I'm proud!)
