MickyBlues said:
Does anyone know if these are accurate when testing for Free T & Estradiol?
I'm interested in this also, and what is the price of the kits and how much is it to get tested?

Anyone find out about this yet? I may be taking one soon and would like to know more about them.

from what I have read from various sources on the internet... they are accurate, but did not dig in deep enough to understand the real science behind them... really just taking the sites word for it...

They sell them here: http://www.primordialperformance.com/

And here is the write up they have about them:

Test your hormones with the ZRT laboratories saliva testing kits. These saliva testing kits provide an easy and affordable way to test your hormone levels from home. We recommend testing your hormones prior to using Dermacrine and again after 2-4 weeks of use. Compared to blood testing, saliva testing offers the benefit of testing for the "bioavailable" hormones, rather than the "total" hormones, therefore offering a more viable evaluation of hormones.

Each kit provides one analysis for the testing of three hormones*, and includes full instructions, one saliva collection tube, and pre-paid shipment box to be mailed back to ZRT laboratories for saliva analysis. Results are received within 2-3 weeks.

*Choose from 7 different hormones - Estrone (E1), Estradiol (E2), Estriol (E3), Testosterone, Progesterone, DHEA-S, and cortisol. For more information about these hormones, visit our Hormones page.

Only thing with saliva testing is that it cant test for "total" SHBG bound test, but it will give you an accurate reading on your free or "bioactive" levels.

The kits we sell already have 3 hormones pre-paid, but you can pay for more through ZRT and have up to 6 hormones tested at once.

My test reading was 123 and estrodiol was .5

Anyone know what this would translate to for blood test levels?

That means your in good shape... Im not sure that there is dead on conversion for free test and total test... since everybody has different SHBG levels.

Ill see if I can pull a conversion table for free test in salva, and free test in blood.
