Curious to know if you think that Sharron is doing the right thing in attacking the Palestinians.......Israel is saying that Arafat is wrong in not deterring terroists attacks.

Doing so, violates the oslo accords.....doesn't it? You seem to know more about this issue, than I do....

well i havent been keeping up as much recently. i saw a little on the news but i really dont know exactly whats going on. i see they are assasinating palestinian militia leaders, i like that. they are preparing to overtake palestinian territories, i like that. i think israel should take over all the land and govern it like a normal country would.

From what I understand, NATO and many countries are angry that Israel is retaliating over the recent suicide bombings. Israel feels that Arafat has not done enough to discourage terrorist attacks, and so they have their military forces ready.

What I don't understand is why Israel would break the earlier accords.....they're only going to lose support for doing this.

i think the conservatives dont really respect the agreements made by rabin to give palestinians land. i agree. its ridiculous that these groups should be allowed to exist while their people are firing on israeli towns and conducting terrorist bombings. then if arafat tells them to stop israel backs off. i think thats way too lenient. they should get those who fired and arrest or kill them. if a group of people in brooklyn started firing at manhattan they would be arrested or killed and not simply called off and let go with their business. israel needs to move in and take control of all its territory and then police it like we would police our own country.

maybe thats why they are so lenient. i think they should start making arrests. tons of them. i think when a palestinian starts firing at a town they should go in and make sure he is killed. when palestinians throw rocks they should arrest all of them. go after terrorist groups. you cant blame a country for enforcing the same laws that you would in your own country.

But the problem, is how do you stop a suicide bomber. You can't.....they can multiply and multiply, out of control.
