It also looks like Hush servers are located in Anguilla (?) so any theory that the US gov't could be somehow mixed up in snooping into this mail seems unlikely.

To be honest Hush is a slight pain in the ass to use (slow). But the safety is worth it.

Sadly,

Hushmail, and Elite's email (which uses Hushmail's engine) is based on very Windoze-specific code.

So, users of other platforms have a hard time working with Hushmail.

Ziplip works fine for those types.

Do we know if the subject line is or is not encrypte. I agree it would a large oversight if it were not encrypted but have seen worse things.
