Sad weekend

Went home to Seattle on Friday for my buddy's wedding. It was a shotgun wedding of sorts as the bride was about two months pregnant. The couple had been together a couple of years and had already been engaged, but decided to "speed things along" for obvious reasons.

The wedding was great; short, simple, beautiful, a great time for everyone, untill late in the evening. My buddy and his new bride had dissappeared, no one knew where they were. I found out the next morning that my friend's new wife had miscarried, on her wedding night.

All, please keep a good thought for Dean and Kim.

Man.. it is things like this that test your faith in the Lord. This happened to a friend of mine and his wife. I am soo soory. I will pray for them.

Thanks again everyone for all the great responses. I'm gonna figure a way to print this out and show it to them when I'm back again for Christmas.

Got some news this am that while Kim is doing fine physically, she's still very distraught. But they are surrounded by family and friends and doing as well as can be expected.
