?'s about Dextrose and Protein...

I have read that taking Dextrone with your shake is more benficial than Protein alone. Did I right that right, or did I get something backwards?

If so, where and what kind should I get? How much per serving? I am also curious to the benefits of actually doing this. Thanks fellas!

Well post workout you need carbs and protein. Both should be quickly digested.

Dextrose is a preferred carb because it is instantly converted to energy.

Whey is good because it is quickly digested.

supplementdirect has dextrose and some local health food stores are starting to carry it. If you have a winery in town they may also have it
