LOL @ plifter. Ryan weren't you raised by straight parents? Guess that means they didn't do as good a job if they had been homosexual. Cut me a frigging break. If they were gay, you're ass wouldn't be here.
I can't that hippie shit we learned about in history class. Americans are fighting overseas risking their lives, and for what? So some tree-hugging, free loving, flower child can bitch, whine, moan, and complain. Its a shame how these people bitch(ed) about wars, but don't realize that those people are dying for the right to bitch. Show some gratitude. I was born in the wrong generation. My generation is full of ungrateful punks, who don't even know why we have Memorial Day off. They just know its a day off, and a sale at the mall.
I can go on all day about that, but thats enough for now.

This is the result of the wisdom you brag about later in this thread? Obviously, you were tempting deletion of the thread so you could whine all the more about how much enlightenment your bitter cynicism has conferred upon you.
Nobody with a gram of brains or decency would write something like that in seriousness. If you'd written it about Jews or black people, I bet plenty of people would call for its removal.
I have hit 40 and I certainly find Ryan's views nothing but refreshing. He seems far more than a naive idealist to me; he's a friggin' law student for chrissakes -- not some hippie deadhead doing street activism.
Frankly, I think you owe him an apology for wishing genocide on him. Don't talk to us about being a man when you haven't got the balls to wish to be anything more than a hippie turned nazi.
