Ah man, I think Pierce Brosman is doing a fine job why swith now? As a sidenote I just saw a picture Roger Moore(he and Sean Connery were the best bond's) man he is 75 now. Can you believe that?
The Whole F/N Show said:I wouldn't say they change Bonds every 3-4 movies since Connery and Moore both did more than 4 Bond movies a piece. Timothy Dalton got the hook because he sucked and Pierce Bronsnan who was the orignal choice wasn't available.
The Whole F/N Show said:Really? I didn't no that. Timothy did suck as Bond, which for me is kinda said since my real name is Dalton. Now I think Russell Crowe is a bad ass he seems a little too Buff to play Bond. Maybe that's just me.
furious said:damnit....that scared the Hades out of me. They need to cast someone who is 6'3 around 225-230 ripped to play Kal El.

thats the policy now though, its what brosnan keeps saying, this last movie is his last whether he wants to keep going or not.
they started the policy with dalton, i think as a result of lazenby only doing one

bikinimom said:Am I THE ONLY ONE who ever notices that HYUGE "thing" on Crowe's forehead? I mean, I think that gladiator was an excellent flick and Crowe was a great in it, but SHEESH! All the freaking money that guy makes and he can't get that "thing" removed? I found it to be VERY distracting and took away from my overall enjoyment of the movie-watching experience.
PS - I disagree with Jolie being cast as Lois Lane. She is just way to "slutty-looking" (not a cheap shot at Jolie) and would be miscast. Someone more like Teri Hatcher (UGH! What happened to her?!) would be better suited I feel.

Untrue. Brosnan is signed on for two more, that'll make five for him. He may do more, but age could catch up with him since he started the role later in life. Dalton was yanked because no one liked him as Bond and no one went to see his movies. There is no "limit" to the number of Bond pictures an actor can do if he's popular and young enough.

I liked Timothy Dalton even though his Bond was pretty hard. But that was one 007 no-one would mess with, I could easily see his character killing the bad guys without a care.
It's amazing how one great role can set up someone (like Christopher Reeve) for life.
