I'm just having fun here, notice I am making no claims about him. And the only reason why I think he has downs syndrome is because I've seen his TV show, and he made about as much sense as Corky from "Life Goes On".

Oh yeah I'm not liberal, I'm a moderate. Who ever heard of a liberal that was pro gun and pro death penalty? I, unlike some, do not "goose step" to one side or the other, like some members here.

I listen to Rush rather frequently, and I have no problem understanding him. Perhaps the problem is user error on your part?

Rush Limbaugh is fat fucking bastard that needs to be shot. He annoys me as much as any left wing flame job (Sam Donaldson??) The only difference is, he has ZERO class. I vividly remember the last time I ever listened to that fatfuck........I sat in astonishment as he made fun of Owen Hart falling 90ft to his death, he finished up his little comedy act by playing "it's raining men". I can honestly say that I would spit in that fat fuckers face if I ever see him, but now I think that I'll also make fun of his hearing impairment as well. I wish nothing but a lifetime of misery and pain on that classless fat fucking assclown!!!! If I could get away with it, I'd shove a hot iron up his ass, grease him up and set him up on a spit roast while listening to him scream like that the fat fucking stuck pig he is.

People forget he's an entertainer..................his show is damn funny sometimes (his Kennedy songs are hilarious) but most of his views are too right wing and his audience are pretty robotic. Still its a funny show.

There was a newsletter published a few years ago that detailed all of Rush Bimbo's lies. It's well known that he has settled many lawsuits because he couldn't stubstantiate his "facts."
Anyway, X behaves just like Limbaugh by insisting on FACTS, when we know they are irrelevant to him, that the insistence is just a way of putting the rest of us to work to produce something he's going to ignore. In the meantime, he can claim to be right. But here are a few sources:
The New Republic, May 23 94, documented 1000 outright falsehoods, including the infamous claim that dioxin is not harmful. Don't forget his rant about welfare queens abandoing 800 babies in DC dumpsters. Seems like Rush misread the acutal figure -- it was actually six. Who can forget his book's claim that the ozone hole is a myth, even though Godard scientists documented it beyond doubt in 1994? And aren't we all still relieved by Big Fat Rush's announcement that styrofoam is biodegradable?
Go to fair.org and do a search of his name. They've been documenting his lies for years. FAIR has also been recording for posterity his imbecilic blather. The man has a flawless talent for revealing what an idiot he is. Here's one of my faves:
LIMBAUGH: Limbaugh on his April 27 radio show recited alleged quotes from Pacifica radio host Julianne Malveaux and CBS reporter Eric Engberg as examples of "liberal hate speech." According to Limbaugh, Malveaux had said: "I think Nicole deserved to die. But the most reprehensible person in this O.J. trial circus is Judge Ito.... I wish he would get a parasite from eating bad sushi and die. I mean it. His face should be on a wanted poster and distributed to all black gang members in L.A. who still haven't forgiven the Asian store owners for resisting the Rodney King rebellion."
And Engberg, Limbaugh said, had reported that Newt Gingrich "has come forward with a welfare reform plan straight out of Oliver Twist and an attitude that child advocates say reminds them of Ebenezer Scrooge."
REALITY: Both quotes come from the April Fools' edition of Notable Quotables, a newsletter that lists quotes from media that the right-wing Media Research Center, headed by Brent Bozell, finds too liberal. Every year, the group puts out a list of made-up quotes, each dated April 1, with "April Fools" printed at the bottom of the two-page publication. And for the second year in a row, Limbaugh has fallen for the hoax, responding with outrage to the fake quotes. (See EXTRA!, 7-8/94.)
Read Al Franken's book, if what you find on fair.org isn't adequate.

I like Rush, but I don't agree with everything he says. Sometimes he pisses me off, and that's why I like'em. Kind'a like a TRUE friend that dosn't just tell you what you want to hear. those that do aren't your friends, nice people are ASSHOLES.
