awesome man!!! I'm running with a team this year. good luck bro!

and you want to do this..............................WHY?

what was your time jafo? My team finished at 1:11, I could have finished around 1 hour had I been running as an individual.

hahah

great race man.

About 100 yards in they have a fire truck blasting you with water, soaking you and shoes.

Then you go through a creek, not running too fast but waist deep.

You hurdle some hay bails. you run through some tire obstacles.

You go over two 5 foot walls into mud pits.

You run through a shallow lake.

You go up a STEEP muddy and slippery hill.

You also grin out a long hill that is about a mile long.

You go through a 50 yard mud put with ropes over the top that you have to crawl under.

You go through some tubes that are about 4 feet in diameter.

Total distance is 6.2 miles so it drains you, very taxing running with wet and muddy shoes.

holy shit

it's like a boy scout obstacle course x500

that'd be fun

next year you should get some of them water shoes, whatever the fuck they're called, the ones you wear kayaking or on the beach and whatnot, not sure how good that would work running up a mile long hill but they would sure as hell be lighter....

you could slip a real pair of running shoes in your beltline and switch it up

yeah, that is the problem, you need real trail runners for most of it, the water is just to throw it all off. I have some aquasox but that have ZERO cushion and aren't really meant to be run it and provide no support.

The military people there did it in Boots and fully utility outfit. hardcore.
