well I have a torn rotator cuff! I get surgery in 2 weeks. blows!!!! who else has had and how long before i am back in gym? dr says 6 months to 1 year for heavy lifting. Also, anyone recomend a good cycle for a faster recovery? i was thinking deca test, and some gh. thanks!

i decided to not get cut on and used a combination of deca and igf-1 . that was after 3 months no gym at all then started this combo with as much rehab work as i could handle . of course this might not be an option in your case but i am soo glad i made the decision not to get cut on . that was about 18 months ago and i have now made a full recovery

different recovery times for everyone really. dont rush back. take your time.

Different shoulder problem but I've had 14 dislocations in the last 3.5 years.I'm almost 57 and refused to take it easy the 1st 13 times(just not my way).Did things right the last time- took it slow and easy and it's 6mos and almost like what it used to be.Recovery different for everyone but 4-6mos after surgery and then go from there but do the rehab right-don't push it.It sucks and mentally and I had to fight everyday not to see if I could just handle a little more but in the past i found out just a second too late when I couldn't and the depression and setback when you reinjure yourself sucks way worse.Good luck to you bro

thanks guys. yeah tendon is torn so i have no choice but for surgery. this is second one, but they say worse. I plan on doing rehab proper but alos, wanted any advice on cycles that may help for faster recovery.

6 to 12 months sounds right. I'm 12 months post op on a torn supraspinatus (rotator complex) and labrum. Do the physical therapy and you can start pussy machines in about 3 months. The pain will keep you from going heavy. 6 to 12 months I was able to start freeweight pressing again. I can bench and OHP more than before my surgery and before I got injured, but not as much if I hadn't, haha. Bench is pretty much pain free, but I've adopted a new form. Shoulder still hurts every once in a while but still better every day.

Take your pills after surgery even if you think you don't need them, it helps greatly with the swelling and breakthrough pain. ICE, ICE, ICE. And follow the doctors directions.

Also, I wouldn't plan a cycle unless you are going to lift legs and just let the drugs work on tendon repair. No workouts for at least two weeks after the surgery, Your body will have enough to deal with. Start off by walking and learning to stand without the use of your deltoids, lol.

Good luck and don't worry, you'll get through it. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Check out the atrophy on my right shoulder and arm...

Tren heals muscles and tendons faster then anything i tore both my tricep tendons and within 3 weeks on tren i was back to doing skull crushers :D

I did HGH and though there's no way for me to be sure my shoulder is the best it's been since the 1st dislocation

thanks! artificial, that is exactly what doc said 3 months on light rsistance. I already had labrum, that kept me out for like 8 months, drug free. Yeah i was only gonna cycle for faster recovery, not to lift. although i have always complained about my legs so this gives me the chance to hit them hard while on. ck, you are the second one that said that about Tren to me, I am hoping i can jump on some prop tren before summer mayish when i am hopefully will be lifting some heavy weight. How bad did the surgery hurt after? my labrum fing killed the first 3 days.

Well I just had my posterior labrum tendon repaired and it blows--5 weeks post surgery and my left shoulder is already 30% smaller than the right--get out of the immobilizer sling this Friday, still can't sleep for more than 3 hours at a time and range of motion sucks--but like you said I really didnt have a choice--I would have had arthritis in less that 10 years if I hadn't got it fixed due to damage done every time it dislocated. SO I hope your rehab time goes better this time. I am taking Deca to see if it helps--cant really tell if it is--my rehab rate is about what they expected. I just want to be a able to do some light upper body so I can stop shrinking.

just went to a body buliding physical therpist. He knows the deal on aas and gh. he states that deca and test will 100% not work, unless its muscle damage. tendon damage you can use gh and it will help. he alos suggested platelit ridge plasma. basically pulling out blood before hand and shoting it in after surgery. Also said, reason why i tore is due, to bad pt after my labrum. so there it is, still sucks

I dont think roids will help you recover from a major joint surgery. Roids strenghten the muscles, not the connecting tendons and joints, therefore you would be overloading the joint since your muscles can move more weight, and you would probably short circuit the recovery process.
Ive had 3 rotator cuff surgeries and can tell you the only thing for 100% recovery is patience, time, rehab (In that order)
Dont fuck yourself up
