ronnie coleman leg workout

he's got some huge legs that's for sure, I think he could go for a fuller range of motion on the leg presses though. I can load the thing up and only move it a couple inches, but then again I'm a Cutler fan.

yer im sure ronnie needs personal advice from a arse fuck side effect like you  idiot

maybe thats the trick to bigger legs? stay in a short range of motion and don't lock out. I don't know, but even his squats are like that.

for us mere mortals by not locking out (which you should never do on leg press, squat type movements since it puts your knees in a vulnerable position) it keeps tension on the muscles being worked resulting in a more effective workout. locking out takes the tension away from the muscle and places it on the joint.

Again on leg press, hack squat etc if you are going heavy you should not bend your legs past the 90degree point since this puts your knees under a lot of stress.

i dont know if this is what he does, i think its the sheer size of his legs which limits his range of motion

he NEVER stops during a set either. did you guys notice how many reps he did for extensions???????

i read his stuff before. he believes in a lot of powerlifting moves. old school style. it also said he does lunges with 315 out across the parking lot.

ya, he was doing like 20 reps. everything Ive read says that only helps endurance, not size. whats up with that.

His sets of leg extensions are meant to warm up his knees and get a good amount of blood into his quads. The theory behind not locking out is correct in that it keeps the tension on the muscle, but it also causes occlusion within the muscle which leads to a theoretically better pump. Bodybuilding is all about the pump. Once you guys realize that, you can move on with your lives. The key is to get the reps you need to create that pump with heavier and heavier weights. This leads to the size gains that everyone craves.
