My Injury
Injury

So I am going to do a "super squat" program that is designed to pack on size and weight.

Would it be dumb for me to go on a cycle because my left pec is still sore and not 100% healed?

I just have anticipated on using this for almost a year now. They are sitting right in front of me.

My other option was to do the super squats program for 2-3 months then when I am healed and plateaued then hit a cycle.

I would not do a cycle until you are fully healed. You need to rest while your pec heals, by still training hard you risk further injuring the pec or having the injury linger. Good luck to you.

Dont waist gear or hurt yourself, wait till your healthy to get back on. Keep training safe and smart for a little bit and you should be ready in no time.

Take the time to heal properly bro. I know the urge to lift is incredible, but you need to control it. Otherwise you could be out for an even longer time.

yeah I knosw...

Well i can still do legs, so I guess I will concemtrate on legs only.

Im sure with teh squats mu upper body will get somewhat stimulated...

I would hold off the juice and going heavy. It would not take awhole lot to agravate the injury, could happen holding the bar squatting. The road to recovery sucks, but no reason in making it any longer than necessary.

Right before I had surgery on my shoulder for biceps tendon impingement I tore my hamstring(grade 2). I started taking 300-400mgs of EQ/week about 2 weeks later and I'm pretty sure it hastened the healing process for both injuries by about 40-60%. This assumption is based on the healing times of similar people I knew with similar backgrounds and fitness levels.

So take this for its worth and also remember that you are more likely to hold on to muscle while on as well, which I only lost about 10lbs total while not training my entire body for 5 weeks and my lower body for about 9 weeks. The only reason I see that gear may cause a recurrance or slow the healing process is if you start your training too fast. The same rehab principles apply, you'll just wont be as far off from returning to original form(or better).

Good luck.
