It's not you, it's the drugs.... Cut down on the amount your taking until you
find a balance between getting the gains you want and enjoying your life.

No, it is you and not the drugs. I am so sick of hearing about "roid rage", if you cant control yourself you have a problem.

That's the problem the drugs are controlling him. He didn't have the problem until he took the drugs.

Lately it seems people are in denial of Roid Rage symptons, and if it exists. Roid Rage is a word started by the media, obviously with negative connotation. Short Fuse Syndrome, is what I would call it. It is common knowledge that you become aggressive with testosterone. Hitler didnt pass it out to his troops to build their bicep peaks. I have always had a short fuse, so on cycles I am able to control myself a little better then someone that has never had a short fuse, goes on cycle and all of a sudden its there, and has no idea how to control themselves. Obviously anybody with brains is not gonna let themselves go nuts and kill someone. However, I definetely get pissed off over little things when Im on cycle

I agree

Look, I don't really think there is such a thing as "roid rage" but I do know Angrogens can make you more aggressive. We all feel it in the gym when we're jacked to the gills, the aggression, the intensity. So why is it so hard to beleive that some dudes can't control it outside the gym?

A mans hormone balance can be just as critical and delicate as a women's. And sometimes when we screw with it and throw it out of kilter, we as men are just as prone to the emotional side effects as women. Why do you think doctors are finnally paying more attention to this and even going so far as prescibing Test for things like depression along with anti-depressants?

Is roid rage real? who can say? But there is more evidence pointing to it than away from it. Something is there, but some of us are just more able to control ourselves better than others. I can tell you this, I take responsibility for my own actions. Roids or no roids. I refuse to pass the buck and blame something or someone for something that is clearly my fault. Be a Man and don't lose control. Just my 2 cents.

All I'm saying is the dude has been on for 2 weeks and he's already "breaking shit". Hypothetically speaking, say we were able to administer that same cycle to 'hrlydvdson' without him knowing, I would be willing to bet this incident would not have happened. Hell, I know when I first start a cycle, I think about pussy a lot more, not because the androgens are kicking in, but because I know they are in my body and I know how they will effect me in 3-4 weeks. The mind is a powerful thing, the trick is to recognize and analyze the situation before "breaking shit."

If you start feeling overly agressive just find something that calms you down, and realize the actual situation.

To this point, a woman can get all emotionally whacked out overnite when the hormones are messed up - this can be while trying to get the correct dosage on a new birth control pill or anything like that. So no, I don't think the simple use of steroids is going to immediately cause "roid rage", but its one way for a guy to get his hormone levels screwed up even when he doesn't realize it. And before you know it you have these extreme emotions over the smallest things. Sometimes you need to have experienced it once and recognized it for what it is before you can figure out how to handle it when you feel it coming. The point right above my post goes to that -- if you are going to cycle, you NEED to be responsible enough to learn how to deal w/ it when it happens.

true all of this to an extent, but like john said, grow the fuck up. i had the same problem, and it's no ones fault but my own. i have a semi bad attitude and when 'on' i am a real asshole to my girl, she left me because of it and i have no one to blame but myself. steroids dont make you an asshole, but they can make it harder to control your inner asshole. if you're not an asshole to begin with, you wont ever get 'roid rage'... especially after being on for two weeks. i lost my temper around week 8 and have spent the last 2 months regretting it. and these bros all gave me the exact same advice when it happened, they told me to quit being a fucking dick.

all that shit is in ur head u can see urself gettting to that point back down take a deep brath walka away do soemthing give me a fucking break rage this rage that u can control it. it is a mental thing why freak out over stupid shit.

Roid rage is bullshit. You just need to grow up and control yourself. If you can't then you don't need to be taking gear.

If Roid rage is bullshit why should he stop taking gear ?

bros, i dont really like the phrase "roid rage" either. i am usually a mellow person but i feel a bit agitated thats all. maybe, my hormone levels are fucked up or i need to add an anti e. thanks for the honesty tho. i know i am only 2 weeks in but the strength is shooting up--so i know juices are flowing. i am feeling a little better now--maybe it was just my body adjusting.....thanks bros for the pos and neg advice.

I had an extremely bad temper my whole life. Once I started taking AAS I noticed that it was the little things, like losing keys, that would set me off. Once I realized that I just tried not to let things bother me. I would have to say stuff like "I will find my keys when I find them" and then move on. Its the same with driving. If someone is tailgating you... you can slam the breaks on and be a dick head... or you could pull off to the side and let them go by. It comes down to making decisions before you react.
*Holy shit am I getting old. I can't believe I wrote that!

If you're losing your head at 2 weeks then your life is really going to be rough when the isocaproate and decanoate start to kick in around weeks 3-4.

I always thought that, whether or not the "rage" exists, it's still in your head. If you have it in the back of your mind that it's "ok" to get pissed off at little things you're probably more prone to do it.

For me it was different. I was so happy at the strength gain I was the happiest SOB around. :)

bro, tell me...what kind of muscle gains as well as strength gains am i going to see by week 8 or so...will they start to slow you think?..

If Its Really A Problem I Would Lower The Dose However It Dosnt Really Seem That Your Taking A Whole Lot Of Gear...i Agree With Most People In The Fact That I Think Roid Rage Came From The Media But Hey Im Not You So If Your Really Feeling Roid Rage And Its Not Some Mental Thing...then My Advice Would Be Lower The Mg's....

Its probably the dbol, no other AAS has really made me aggressive besides that one. Not blaming it on the drug though...I've always been an aggressive driver (southern california driver) and it seemed to amplify it.

I know different people respond differently to different drugs but test has always calmed me down, and deca had no effect soooo.

Just remember to play it cool when you get in situations that you might lose it. Count to 3, take a deep breath, think about it, then think of a constructive way to solve the problem.

BTW there's no point in calling someone stupid over this whole thing. If your inability to control your temper got you into trouble then you'd be stupid, but just dont let it get out of hand.

Have mixed feelings on the "Roid Rage" issue. Have personally never experienced it. Did have a buddy back in the day that claimed that any form of test would give him a short fuse, so to speak. However, he was mature and in complete control of his emotions. What he told us was that he would get "irritated" by things and circumstances that would normally roll off his back. He didn't like the feeling, so he stuck with Deca and the like.

So, whats our point ? We think Androgens can affect your emotions. But, how you chose to handle them is well within your grasp ! So, I guess were not buying the roid rage syndrome, sorry.

I didn't do deca, so I can't comment fully. I was doing 250mg sust 2x/wk (1-10) and 30mg dbol ED weeks (1-6) then winny (6-10).

Strength gains were, quite simply, unreal. Once you hit week 4 you'll start to see what I mean. I started nolva around week 3 cause I started itching but by then I think it was too late to stave off the bloating. I put on 20 lbs in 2 weeks, which I assume all of it was water.

If this is your first cycle, you picked a winner. Your stack is the king of all mass builders. If you're eating like a pig you're going to pack on mass. If you're eating *clean* like a pig you're going to be very satisfied. I don't think anyone can stress enough how important your diet and your sleep patterns are.

If you have your diet, sleep, training and PCT all in line, you won't be disappointed.

I agree with you 100%.

I think you can classify "Roid Rage " with " Beer Muscles". You just don't fuckin have em. It will also get you into trouble you can't handle.

It's all in your head man. When your on you feel invinceable and times when you come off you feel like shit. I know this first hand as well. I'm sure others do to. Again it's all in your head.

As far as wanting to kill the family pets, whatever floats your boat. J/k Try and channel that rage towards the weights. Now you'll really see the gains you want.

Good luck with it.
