roid belly

big beach

New member
This is the first time that I have ever experienced my abdominals getting so thick. It's beginning to look like Ronnie Colmans' belly. What is this all about?
I did 400mg/week of eq, 75mg/day of fina and 200mg/week of enanthate for 8 weeks then went on v for 3 then finishing with prop for 3 weeks before starting my clomid. But my belly looks and feels bloated, but very tight and lean. Can anyone tell me if there's something I can do to offset this effect, and will it reverse when I'm off my cycle?

First off, the belly you are referring to is normally due to heavy GH usage. GH causes your internal organs to grow along with everything else and most bodybuilders consider this an acceptable side effect. Look at Ronnie for shits sake...

The only way I could see someone getting a roid belly would be from excess water retention or possibly from the increased calorie intake which could make the stomach feel bloated or "stuck out"

dont excess hormones cause your internal organs to grow or is that only HGH? i get bloated like a mofo when on test and my abs are ripped but they stick out past my chest unless i flex em. its wierd cause no fat on em at all just bloated from all the food i cram down my mouth.

I think its primarily just from having a stretched stomach which is required when bulking in order to eat. If you ever cut back on your meals for about a week, you'll probably notice a dramatic decrease in stomach size.

Exactly what I was going to suggest was the cause. A thing that might possibly offset this (and I personally have had good luck with) is the vaccuum. When driving in your car, or sitting in your office just suck your lower belly in and hold. You should be able to still breathe. Do this enough and your stomach will be trained to not stick out. Obviously bodyfat, and water retention will play a big role in how far out your belly extends, but this little trick is good if you are lean (i.e. I used to flex and almost have a 6 pack but when I relaxed my belly would stick out). I've been doing this vaccuum throughout my day for a couple weeks now and have noticed a difference.
