Rogaine for life or just temporary?

I've been off my cycle for about 4 mos and recently I started using stuff for my hairloss. Am I going to have to use this stuff for life or just temporarily? If so, for how long? Thanks in advance for all you input. bigwillster

I use minoxidil 5% myself and have for 6 years.It is sold in generic form at cvs and wallmart etc, at cheaper prices.They say if you stop use youre hair will revert to its falling out .True or not ? who knows,,,,they got you by the balls because who wants to take the chance!.....billlyd

I would think that if you have male pattern bladness and steroids excelled it, then I would stay one for life. But if you are just taking it for precausions then do it temporaroly. Some guys thin a little that don't have MPB so they take it to get there hair back to normal then stop.

I think Rogaine is a total waste of money. I used it like weed killer on my head and it didnt do shit....or maybe Im that 5th guy they talk about! lol

Perhaps a stronger dose is needed. I used Rogaine for a while. It just seems to 'slow the tide'. I looked on minoxidil.com and saw xandrox, which is 12.5% minoxidil. The Rogaine and generics are 5%. Has anyone tried the new stuff?
