What instantmuscle said is correct. DIET...... and cardio is the key to cutting and unless you are competing there is no reason in my opion to use substances to cut,becuase lets face it, you dont need a "drug" or what ever to do that,so dont do it. If you do it naturaly it builds your character as a bodybuilder, chems, man anyone can do that.

Well sounds good in theory the only thing that holds true Is diet and cardio ....... there are many reason WHY people use CHEMS .......... just becasue one diets and does cardio dont mean that they get the goal They have in mind .......... it takes years to dial in to Diet and training ...... if a person just wants to loose weight than yes ........ but many here want a different effect ....... a harder leaner look ........... but what happens when one diets and trains is they loose weight but loose muscle as well thus looking thinner but very flat ( not very good muscle tone ) ........ it does take years But to say that he sould do this and do that with out him posting age stats , time training ......... to say than "no" dont cycle is a little off my friend......

Maybe he has been training for a few years and lost the weight and just cant seem to have that RIPPED LOOK HUMMMMMMMM........... well it that case a cycle may be good maybe he dont want to step on stage ....... maybe he wants to just fell better and look his best ........ some people WANT TO ACHive DIfferent things ......

than lets just say gentics just becasue you have a primary gentic LIKE ECTO DONT MEAN YOU CAN NOT CARRY A TRAIT OF ANOTHER So when saying gentics play the roll of where steroids come into play when they MAX OUT IS OFF as well

where do they come in to play when you reached a point of TRAINING, DIET, AGE RISK VERSE GAIN and this will greatly Differ from person to person .. basicly when you are ready for the next level ............ becasue EVERY ONE CAN GET the results Natural with out anything BUT IT TAKES LOTS AND LOTS OF TIME BUt THATS WHEN CHEMS and AAS ARE A BIG DIFFERENCE . to reach that point and beyond ...........

when it comes to stripping bodyfat and not losing muscle at the same time, AAS is the only way. Anyone can lose bodyfat, but throwing something in there to keep your muscle from going bye bye sounds good to me. Theres not much better than being able to run like your training for a marathon while holding on to your muscle mass. Its a beautiful thing, bodyfat literally melts off and muscle sticks around for all to see. Gotta love it

I hear that man. Im married too, although right now my motivation is "one more time before I get too old and want to hang it up for good", lol. Im quickly approaching 30, and I want to look my best 1 more time before its all said and done.

But like you said, its definitely much more of a challenge when you have a significant other in the mix, especially one that does not have the same goals as you do. I miss a lot of meals, and a lot of cardio sessions, and some meals are just flat out not what I should be eatting. So I have to work out extra hard to get where I want to be. Its definitely both a physical and mental challenge. :coffee:
 
I hear that man. Im married too, although right now my motivation is "one more time before I get too old and want to hang it up for good", lol. Im quickly approaching 30, and I want to look my best 1 more time before its all said and done.

funny part is my wife is ripped naturally and can eat whatever she wants. she diets just like i do and works out just as much. i can say when i was single was the easiest time to reach my goals. i would go out 1 night a week and do everything else perfect. now with her she could care less if im 8%bf or 11%. so considering i will never cheat on her my motivation has become to be my best. hardcore cutting seems like a thing of the past now. i actually feel much bigger at 10% than 8% though. whatever, i'll never allow myself to get fat or overweight so im looking forward to hrt in a few years after we have kids. then maybe i'll go back to my hardcore cutting.
 
You know what thats cool. If there is a reason that aas come in handy for cutting purpouses then sweet. Actually i am not saying that i wouldnt try using aas for cutting in the future either.

I just get alittle nervous because i see alot of drug mentality in people and sometimes i wonder if it is nessescary. You know what i mean: my head hurts, i need a tylonol, my back hurts i need a vicodan, i want to gain weight, i use sterioids, i want to loose weight i'll need sterioids.

I guess when it come to roids and cutting, technacilly i should keep my mouth shut because i dont know much about it and it makes sence to use a substance that would burn fat and not muscle.

Man, cant you guys just let me feel smart and not steal my thunder..... lol

Very true, unless he has a high bf%. Those who are lean 12-10%, are the victims of rapid muscle loss when dieting and doing massive cardio w/out aas. Fatter folks burn very little muscle with this approach. It seems overweight ppl preserve muscle and drop tons of bf when they get on a good program and can maintain that program for months on end. There's such an adundance of fat that can be utilized w/out harming muscle as long as protein intake is adequate. Winny would be a complete waste unless he's below 12%BF.

I think you will be okay, lets see I was 47 when I did my first cycle, 56 now, I think I still look ok.

Amen. I like the word "character".

If you can develop the discipline needed to successfully diet, you are really on your way.
