Wilson Pickett died today.

Okay, so he'll have to spend some time in purgatory for inflicting "Mustang Sally" on the world, but I wouldn't wish an eternity in Hell on him for just that one infraction.

I just went through his song list, I didn't know he made Hey Jude. His version sounds so much better.

I don't think I've heard it, but most R&B covers of Beatles tunes are atrocious.
For example, Ray Charles' "Eleanor Rigby" or Stevie Wonder's "We Can Work It Out". Ugh.
