Right pec muscle sore

Hey Guys - need ur advise.

I rest my chest for a week thinking it would get better. I did chest yesterday real hard and I felt a little discomfort in my right chest muscle, but I was still able to lift heavy weight. Today my right chest muscle is very sore and feels inflammed - it more up towards my collarbone going towards my shoulder. I realize you get sore after doing chest, but my right chest hurts alot more than my left chest.

I'm was planning on doing back today, but do you think this is going to make matters worse? Do you guys just push through the pain? Thanks for any advise....

I have been also icing throughout the day.
 
I would'nt try to push through the pain bro, i tried that with an elbow injury and it just made things worse and a longer road to recovery.

Ice the area for 15 minutes 3 / 4 times a day ( thats the advice i got from my physio ) , if you see your doctor he might prescribe an anti-inflammatory tab or gel.

order some skeletal balm from NTBM and use it a couple of times a day .i'm using it at the moment and am getting good relief from it.....

Rest it for a week and see your doc if it doesnt settle down.

Could be a microtear def dont push it bro take about 2 weeks off all chest but do everything else always warm up with the bar alone if you feel something not right dont load it up wait till it fully recovers...
 
I pulled about a pennies worth or muscle fiber from my chest

Its fine now, but actually injuring your chest takes forever to heal

its best to back off NOW
