you can have it as a dessert

175 calories: 1 cup skim ricotta cheese sweetened with Splenda, vanilla flavoring, and a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon.. Yummy...

Or..

Mix it with pasta.. No tomato sauce, just the pasta, ricotta and a healthy sprinkling of parmesan.... Not too much...

It's also good sweetened on toast/bagel for breakfast... Or add fresh berries to it for breakfast too... Thats nice...


Cooking it kind of like a creamy scrambled egg, then mix it with pasta.. Or have just the egg....


Play around with it... :)
 
Why would you eat FF Cottage cheese?

I am a big proponent of eating REAL fat. The less chemically altered your food is, the better.

Fat is not evil.
 
Use as you would for regular ricotta cheese........in lasagna, tossed with pasta (use some ricotta + sauce to make a sauce) or as ILK said, sweetened as a dessert.....that's what cannolis are made out of.....

I don't think ricotta has much taste by itself anyway, so I don't mind using the FF - but if you notice a big diff. in taste you may want to try Part Skim ricotta.....
