It is funny but most of big deadlifters have average traps - from videos on www.irongame.net
All this talk about building huge traps with deadlifts is just bullshit.
The only people who build their traps with deadlifts are those with genetic ability to do such thing through static exercises. Like Kaz.. although he probably did other shit as well

Kaz used to do lots of shrugs. He'd go heavy and strict for a few sets, then he'd do one or two sets of 20-40 reps with lots of cheating ("bouncing" off the thighs). That, plus deadlifting 2x per week, built his traps.
