Reverse curls for Forearms?

i was wondering if reverse curls are good for forearms thickness/strength, becuz ive seen some of the big benchers and they have HUGE forearms.
Heres wat i wanted to try....
@ the end of DE bench day ill do 3 or 4 sets of 8 for reverse curls and @ the end of M E bench day ill do 3-4 sets of 8-10 hammer curls.
What do u guys think?
 
i want to do this also, its also a good excuse to do some bicep work..hehe..no but i seriously have some stabilization issues in bench so i need some work on that
 
i only hit the hammer curls for direct bicep/forearm work. if you're squeezing the hell out of the bar every deadlift and squat and bench, then this shouldn't really be much of an issue. if the forearm becomes the reason why you can't make a lift, then that's another thing, but i'd personally rather spend the time bringing up other points.

they will both work as exercises, but i just prefer the hammer curl.
