guy i worked with got canned on a monday afternoon. they cut him a check for his vacation pay and small severance and asked him to leave the premises. he wasnt pissed about getting fired, but he couldnt believe they had him come in on a monday and work the full day.
late friday evening he snuck into the building, no security of course and the cleaning lady was on her way out. she let him in, probably had seen him there for years and didnt realize he had been let go. the guy waits til the lights are off, calls his bud on a cell phone. they proceed to place four geese (apparently common outside these office campuses nowadays) in his old bosses office. they covered the floor in grass clippings, oatmeal and seeds. they were kind enough to leave a few bowls of water for the birds too. monday was a holiday, so these animals were cooped up in this small room til tuesday morning. needless to say the aroma was none too pleasant when everyone returned to work. the small office was a disaster zone. the supervisor opened his door and came out screaming. unfortunately i wasnt there to see that. i have no idea how they managed to get those animals in there, but they had to bring in animal control guys in because everyone in the office was afraid to go near them. i believe one or two of the birds died, company tried to bring charges against him but gave up after a while. of course they blamed the cleaning lady.
