I wrecked my 4 wheeler at 60mph in august. broke my collarbone, my arm, tore my shoulder out of socket, cracked a few ribs, bulged a disc in my back, strained my back muscles and broke my tail bone. i hadnt touched a weight a few months prior because i was so wrapped up in riding. Im cleared to start lifting again in March. My weights were as so..... Bench-235 Deads-290 Rows-200 Squats 315 I know that im not even gonna be close to those, one from the time off and 2 because of the injuries. Im at 220lbs and if i had to guess im probably at 20%BF and most of that came on from sitting around for the last 4 months doing absolutely nothing all day, drinking and eating crap. Im not really worried about ramping my weights up, i do however want to get my flexibility and cardiovascular endurance back. I need to lose weight bad, so i figured now would be the best time to start researching and getting my diet in order.....any reccomendations towards a good regimine that would get me back into good overall health and physical shape before i start lifting hard again? Should i focus more on cardio and diet and less on lifting? I was thinking about running 3 times a week, incorporating basketball and hiking into my hobbies and then after i lose some damn weight and drop some BF then starting over with the 3x5. Any ideas or encouragement would be great. Thanks
