Request: Link to explain the 3 Tricep Heads. Look inside.

I'm looking for:
1. The uses of the three heads.
2. Which motions they control.
3. How to hit them; which excercises emphasize them.
4. Any other pertinant information regarding the three heads.

This info is not solely for me, but for friends and fellow ef'ers too.
I'll try to give some K out for help too!
Thanks.
Chris

:lmao: Okay, I didn't look at your link, honest to god I didn't realize we were both using EXRX ... yours just says "a bit wordy" or something ... sorry ...

To me it's straightforward because it provides glossary links to the words that most people are unfamiliar with ... I'm in the medical field so it makes sense to me ...

Let's try these:

http://www.meddean.luc.edu/lumen/MedEd/GrossAnatomy/dissector/muscles/tric.htm (you probably won't like this one)

This might be more of an article describing what you want, it's a little more in layman's terms, you have to scroll down the page a bit ...

http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/8weekstobiggertriceps2plan.php

If those aren't close to what you're looking for sing out :qt:

Dude. That second link is awesome!!!! Only one problem....how do you emphasize each particular head? Maybe I missed it, but I didnt see it.

Well, did you read down the article to Methodology???

Do remember that the triceps is more like one muscle with three attachment points. Just like your QUADriceps is like one muscle with FOUR attachment points, the BIceps ... you see where I'm going, right?

I briefly skimmed the article and what I got from it is if you do a couple of targeted triceps exercises that move in different planes and utilizing stretching and power then you've got your bases covered.

Here's the link to the main page of the website, he's got some pretty good workouts, maybe if you sift through you'll become more familiar with his workouts and it will start to fall together:

i like to do resistance band toe curls to help the strength of my strides while sprinting.

and i also do kettlebell swiss ball penis tucks to target the area of the abdominals that inserts into the symphysis pubis.

you know, that or full snatches, same effect.
