Repitition

Does doing a high number of repititions, compress bones.
{ie. squats: doing 3 sets of 22-30}
can numerous repitions compress bone
I am 17

Yes, there are compressive forces acting on your bones when you are doing many weight training exercises.

For your squat example, yes, there is significant compressive force acting on many bones in your body, most notably your spine.

This should be looked at as a positive, your bones will grow stronger, and become more dense, resulting in less breaks.

Repetition variations will result in a change in the summation of these compressive forces only.

-- Are you wondering if weight training will result in bones shrinking, or becoming shorter? No. however, exercises like the squat, that apply compressive forces to the spine, compress the intervertebral discs, resulting in a measurable change in spine length. Don't worry though, it doesn't take long for your height to be restored. Also, exercises that take weight off the spine, like chin ups, will result in an increase in spine length, again, this is only temporary.

Re: Repetition

It's low reps that you still have to watch out for. Wait until next year before trying a one rep maximum. Sets of 3-5 is as heavy as you want to go for now. High rep sets as you described pose no problem even for pre-teens.
