Rep scheme for barbell shrugs?

What would be a better rep scheme for barbell shrugs?

3 sets reps of 15,12,10 all while increasing the weight each set or 3 sets reps of 10,8,6 all while increasing the weight each set?

Both, I train traps twice a week and go 12-15 reps one day and 6-8 reps the other. Working well so far.

I just do 10, 10, 10 and increase each time. Usually the last set I won't get all 10. When I do, I up the increase by 5-10 pounds.

I think the biggest thing to remember is to increase the weight inorder to employ the progressive overload therory, just like 5x5 so id say if you shrug 400 lbs for your work sets the next week do 405 and so on

my traps are the biggest part on me. I don't count with db shrugs, I listen to the muscle. I remember when I was 18, I would shrug the 50 lbs db's until I could "just" get them back on the rack. Now I do them with the 150's until I can just get them back on the rack. I only do them 1x a week.

My traps are huge for my weight.....I would start with 225 jump to 455 and back down to 315 I would do an extended hold for max time...drop to 225 and repeat

anything over 8-10 and the weight is too light
ill hit all sets of 10's with pretty much no rest between sets (just the time it takes to add more plates) then blast out one work set at 500+ for 5-8 reps with a static hold at the end

Help me!! Im fuckin TRAPPED!!
