Remember Willie Horton?

When Michael Dukakis was Governor of Massachusetts he let a convicted murderer off on a weekend pass program where he brutally murdered again. The Bush campaigned discussed this in an ad and showed a mug shot of Horton, who was black. Bush successfully demonstrated that Dukakis was weak on crime. Democrats were incensed because they said Bush played the race card, although nothing in the add was not factual.

History can repeat itself. Bush could just as easily air an ad featuring two men kissing after wedding in San Francisco, or Rosie O'Donnell kissing her wife, and ask the question: "is this what america has come to?"

This would be a very effective ad.

Will Bush be accused of playing the "Gay" card?

Fuck it... they should just use the Willie Horton ad again. Kerry was Dukakis' Lieutenant Governer.

If I recall correctly, which I usually don't, one of the issues was that they used a photo which made Horton look alot darker (translation: blacker/meaner) than he actually was.

For a racist party, the republicans seem to treat 'minorities' more like individuals than the democrats. They have 'minorities' in positions of real power, responsibility, and influence. They don't support inherently racist social programs. I'm unaware of the party stance on gay marriage though. In both parties, there seems to be individual variation on the matter, not a real political policy.

you don't know the party line on gay marriage but you know all this other stuff?
anyway, if bush speaks for most repbulicans in congress, then they are against it. They are trying to amend the constitution to prohibit gay marriage. it's amazing that they want to amend the frigging constitution with this nonsense.

So true... Mark my words:

The first black president will be Republican.

The first female president will be Republican.

The first black female president will be Republican.

We may not see all of this in our lifetime, but it will happen.

I agree with number one and number three and have said as much before. Number two I disagree with. I think Hillary would stand a chance of winning (God forbid).

She will never win. Have you ever heard her speak? Once people hear that shrill cunts voice, they will be turned off. Right now it is Ok because we barely hear her. But during a campaign it will be like nails on a chalkboard.

And half the married ones that answered the question are or will be divorced. They should worry about preserving their own marriages.

But not nearly effective as the shock-of-truth value of an ad with Bush's face on it and it saying "This is what America came to."

The President who never did win the election. He was appointed. Last count of the ballots showed he clearly lost.

The President who is still looking for WMD.

The President who likes to run around saying "Support Our Troops", but yet he cuts their pay. ??? great support Shrub.

The President with his own fabricated service record.

The President who lost more jobs in his term than during the Great Depression. Never has unemployment been as high.

Oh yeah... and should he run an ad with two gay people kissing, he might want to explain WHY he has turned over his campaign re-election to a KNOWN lesbian couple to run.

George W. Bush Resume

Past work experience:

Ran for congress and lost.

Produced a Hollywood slasher B movie.

Set economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.

Set all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market.

First president in decades to execute a federal prisoner.

First president in US history to enter office with a criminal record.

First year in office set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history.

After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, presided over the worst security failure in US history.

Set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips than any other president in US history.

In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their job.

Cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history.

Set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12 month period.

Dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.

My presidency is the most secretive and un-accountable of any in US history.

Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (the 'poorest' multi-millionaire, Condoleezza Rice has an Chevron oil tanker named after her).

Had more states to simultaneously go bankrupt than any president in the history of the United States.

Presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world.

Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.

Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.

In the 18 months following the 911 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.

Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.

In a little over two years created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the US has ever been since the civil war.

Don't have time for all of these tonight, but here's a start:

1) As Commander in Chief is leading a successful war vs terrorism and has rid the world of two dangerous enemies of the US, thereby making the US and world safer

2) We were overtaxed when he took office (surplus). Provide tax relief as promised

3) Rebounded the economy after inheriting a recession and enduring an unprecedented attack on US soil that adversely affected the economy

4) Currently experiencing record growth

5) Currently experiencing record growth

6) Exercised Capital Punishment effectively as a Governor and as President

7) Proof please

Why is it that you like to this poll's percentage, but yet when poll's show Bush behind Kerry and Edwards you don't like them and think they're worthless?

One could easily say that it worthless as well.

1 - Only captured one. Where is the other? Proof?

2 - Not so. Please double check this and get back with me. Absurd.

3- Inherieted? From who? Not from Clinton. It was booming under him. Then when shrub took over the economy went downhill. Quickly. The only President that did not have a business plan at all. (except for oil buddies)

4 & 5 - Anything coming from rock bottom upwards can be claimed to be experiencing record growth. That is simple math. Again, the proof is not there. Look around. What you may term "growth" is really nothing more than slow recovery from his shitty economic policies.

6 - Who cares about this one. The prisoner deserved it. I think we all agree with that one.

7 - DUI, AWOL - which seems to be ignored or unanswered by Mr Bushit himself. But the proof is there.
