Reggie White Death

Any thoughts on what contributed to Reggies early death at the age of 43? Drug use? AAS use etc.....

I swear AAS was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. I hope that's not the case. Even more people will conclude that AAS is unsafe in any amount, when in reality the average person that takes them probably won't(IMO) go to the extremes that an NFL player might.

Not saying that NFL players use juice, but um, uh....

I really hope media doesent connect he's dead to AAS, steroids doesent need more bad news..
god bless him

He died from the respitory disease because he was too fat! He was extremely overweight when he died which cause excessive pressure on his chest and diaphram in a relaxed state that restricted the airway. This cause a body stress that triggered a heart attack in his sleep.

You all know I'm knee deep in this game with all of you, so don't get on me, but when I see a death like this it does give me pause. Not like oh shit should I be juicing, b/c nothings changing that, but more of a bracing for what I fear could be coming. If we are honest, how many generations have really had gear, particularly in the way we have it. I'd say maybe 3. Now I'm not saying its the case, but I'm always scared to death when I see something like this that it may be the start of a death toll for lifetime juicers. Not saying this is the case, in fact I'd bet it isn't, but the fact is that we don't know. The guys who have been on most of their life, the way alot of us are, are just now reaching their 40's and if it was going to hit the fan it could. Just saying that the thought does cross this juicers mind when he sees something like this, there no sense in me denying that.

He had a respiratory problem. I think it was lack of oxygen to the lungs because of sleep apnea.

I heard sleep apnia was the cause myself. Pretty scary 'cause it's pretty common.

First off, I really doubt RW was on anything, he was just one of those big/fat lineman type guys. But more importantly, why would you assume that AS has ANYTHING to do with his death? He was an obese male African-American, three major indicators of an early death.

What happens to these football players is that after retirement they no longer have that physical workouts. But yet they tend to eat the same amount of food and even worse ,since weight limits no longer apply.Putting on all that weight has got to stress the heart, lungs and immune system.
In my opinion I think Reggie was one of those that did not use gear.He was into religion and helping kids.Just shows how short life can be.

Obesity + Sleep Apnea + Congestive Heart Failure -> Sudden Cardiac Death.

All these factors work together. It used to be thought that Obesity -> Apnea -> Congestive Heart Failure but when they started putting monitors on these people it actually looked like just the opposite. Not sure what the latest thinking is though.

The steroids did it!!!!! Don't you know that anytime a former athlete dies young, it's always steroids that contributes to their death! Get with the program.
