Sean Taylor is going to be good.

Had he already made his picks when you posted this?

jenscats I think I PMed you before when I foufn out you like the skins. What an unbelievabel game huh? WOn on a last second FG by some dude from Sweden who's not even going to make the team!

uh....no.

Just kidding. Yeah it was right after he made the INT for a touchdown, so it's not like I was making some kind of prophetic statement.

Da Skins....They gonna rock this year with Big Daddy Joe back on the helm...Bring on the hogs and let loose the *Diesel*

He just squeaked that in too....

Okay Jen, now I know who to harass after the Cowboys beat the Skins twice this year.

Believe me, I have a buddy who is a TRUE Cowgirl's fan......he never hesitates or holds back.....

But what if the Skins win? Hmmmmmmmmm

You goddamn SKins fans are like the Red Sox fans - when will you leanr to give up? You all thought the old Ball Coach was going to be unbelievable in the NFL, didn't you? That turned out well...

LOL

What is funnier is witnessing the media down there predicting SB year after year in the preseason.

Just like the government, they have no grasp of reality

Same with the degenerate Eagles fans - every friggin year they lose in the NFC championship, yet every year they are the NFC favorite.

Shadow -- NO Cowgirls comments in my thread! Yuck!!

exsqueeze me? The thread title is REDSKINS. Guess who owns the fokkin Redskins? I believe the cownboys have one 11 of the last twelve meetings with the skins, if it isn't 11 of twelve it is 12 of 14. COWBOYS OWN THE FOKKIN REDSKINS.

Also, we have one hell of a trophy case, filled with FIVE Superbowl CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!!!!

THE ONLY THING I'LL GIVE THE SKINS IS A NOD FOR BRINGING IN JOE GIBBS.

NFC EAST IS A BAD ASS Division again...I guess the Giants are the weakest next to the Reskins, then the boys then the Eagles, but the Iggles never have won a Superbowl. Ever since they cheered when Mike Irvin broke his neck, the Lombardy Gods have denied them access to the Championship. curse of the cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll put it this way, if the skins ever solve their QB problem, they will do quite good....If the chips fall into place, perhaps a wildcard birth...But, all in all, if they finish better than 500, I will have considered their season an overall success....

Ranger

Killah: Eagles are the favorites, especially with McNabb at QB. I hated seeing sean Taylor witht he Skins though. That can't be good. Eli beer fucking deliver, cause outside of QB, he would have been my choice in the draft.

Shadow. LOL at Cowboys being the top of the dividion. Oh man, are you coming back down to earth. Good luck with Vinny:)

Agree with the QB situation, but they HAVE to be shooting well over 500 at this point. A season 1 game over 500 should be considered a major disappointment. They have arguably the best back in the league and a veteran QB, not to mention the Gibber.

Hope the skins have more up their sleeve...cause they'll have a long way to go the way they played last night...

True, but it was just a preseason game. They should contend for a wild card spot, maybe an 9-7 or 8-8 record. They have serious defensive line issues, and now their offensive line is already in bad shape.

Agreed, the Skins biggest problem over the past several years has been Unity...One thing all the great NFL dynasty's have had over the years(Dolphins, Steelers, Cowboys, 49'ers) has been that fact...They played together as a team, and each year the same veterans returned...With the Skins, best known for their defense as of late, has been the lack of unity...each week it was a toss up as to which offense showed up on game day, and how they played....Keep Snyder in the booth and away for the players and coaches, let Gibbs rebuild for a year or two, and things will improve...

Remember when J. Johnson came to Dallas with an unknown QB and team, they won one game that year...beat the Skins of course....heh heh heh...They stayed together and created a super team and had the support of great offense coord. such a N. Turner....

One thing for certain, all eyes will be on Gibbs, and expectations are undenialbly high at this point...<wink>

No one has unity, or raher continuity, today. That was the beginning of the cap, and Dallas was well stocked after that Minnie trade.

Your GM is a joke. He assembles teams like a kid looking through his fotball card collection. I respect Joe Gibbs, and he may be the best coach in the league at the moment. I always thought he was his last time around.

But the Skins have line problems, new coach, new system, and too many question marks to take too seriously.

It will be the eagles again, and whoever can catch up.

May I also add that I deal with the Skins every year in regards to suites and their sales staff are a bunch of jerk offs with no class.

That sux. KB. Had you dealt with then under the Cookes, or only under Snyder?

Getting down on people for rooting for a team is like insulting someone for their religion. Allegiances to sports teams are not an intellectual decision. I have no problem with people rooting for the Cowboys or the Red Sox....(though I do like harrassing the latter sometimes). You like your team, I like my team. Big deal, maybe we can get a friendly bet going for a particular game or two, and sure one of us will have bragging rights for a day or two after the game.

Yes I yell and scream at the TV, and high-five anyone within arm's reach when the 'Skins score, but using these things as some sort of character insult days, weeks, or even years later belies a bit of an unbalanced world view IMO.

LMAO at the last sentence! I have only worked with them under the Snyder regime.

Yeah right. Perhaps you can enlighten us as to what defensive changes they made in the offseason.

Well, like everyone else, I'm pinning my hopes to the return of Gunther. You know it's bad when they're worried that they're going to lose Mike Maslowski for the season. He's a great special teams player, but not a first string MLB.

If the offense remains as good, and the defense shows even a little improvement, the Chiefs might actually make it past the first round.

We'll see. Coaching can only get you so far. They didn't do jack as far as adding defensive talent, which is a shame consdiering how bad they got lit up last year. I mean, they got LIT UP.

Yep, I know...they've maintained since last year that the personnel is fine, but the scheme is wrong.

I'm hoping that getting Eric Hicks back to pursuing the QB instead of dropping back into coverage will help.

We'll see. The only guys I see on that team that are any good are Barber and Wesley. Everyone else appear to be a bunch of no-names, except for R-Kal Truluck.

I refuse to give up! I still look fondly back on their Superbowl win in 1986....or was it 1987? :p

lets see if Gibbs can pull a Bill Parcels and take them to the playoffs in one season !!!! whats wrong with the skins are the players...they are ego driven care about $$$$ and not respect the coach(es) and listen to them....how can 4/5 freaking coaches be wrong...its the players...good players who can't work together....

Difference between the cowboys last year and the redskins this year is that the cowboys had a pretty good defense when parcells came on board. The redskins can't say that.
