Life Inc. - For Gen Y, moving back with their parents is a LOL

Among young adults, 61 percent said they have friends or family members who have moved back in with their parents because of economic conditions

Barry's economy has devastated the 20-somethings economically. And the sad thing is now that they are 2-3 years out of a job, employers won't want the vast majority of them. He's created a band of employment "orphans" that we'll have to deal with for a very long time.

The only poetic justice is the fact that this segment of kids overwhelmingly supported him in the election. So in a weird way, the system worked -- they got what they wanted.

lotsa these kids are afraid/too good/don't want to get dirty with trade/labor sorta work.
they have BS degrees (myself included) and feel entitled to glitz and glamour and lawyer pay (see ows)...meanwhile, there is plenty of folks making a go of it doing tradework, firefighting, police, etc that require more hands on skills and apprenticeship style training as opposed to a BA in African American liberation studies or Post-Modern Feministic thought sorta degrees.
i sometimes wish i skipped the whole college BS time of my life and got est. into my career that i'm in now...i'd be making much more money, i'd have a better retirement, and i wouldn't have the college loan assholes breathing down my neck...i did glean some overall good skills in college, so it wasn't a complete waste, but compared to the cost and time it took, it proly wasn't worth it for me.

If we ended our war on US manufacturers and started pushing trade skills, millions of people would be vastly better off.

The libtards have convinced us that everyone needs a college degree, which in turn leaves us with a bunch of History and Fine Arts majors wondering why they don't graduate directly into six-figure salaries.

And people overlook the lifestyle that trade skills offer. Hell, there's a part of me that wished I were a machinist. Some of my best days are down in the garage milling. And while I'm sure it's tougher to make ends meet using your hands, you also have the beauty of being able to turn the machine off and walk away at the end of the day. Here, it's 9:54 PM and I'm still doing my last emails.

i didn't have the requisite skilzs to pursue a real degree and I attend a "college prep" high school

i certainly wasn't prepared for college calculus to becum a engineer

i relocated 100 miles away with my BS degree to take a position as a laborer on a crew

everybody in my family tree for generations has a college degree

Sup Bino!

That shit wasn't worth it for a lotta people... 10 yrs ago u could get paid nicely with a bs degree... Not anymore... 75% of those degree ain't worth 2 squirts of piss, it's all back to experience and OTJ training and the hardest part is getting ur foot in the door to whatever career is in ur future! I went to college for football at Tabor Univ in Kansas, stayed there for about a month a gtfo ASAP... That whole county is full of mininites and they are fucked up for real. Leaving was the best thing I ever did.

btw, I don't regret college at all

i certainly could have applied myself moar, butt even then i was cognitive of the fact that it wood be the only time in my life to be a complete degenerate

it was a great time and an opportunity to meat interesting people

"I went to college for football"
that's what's fuckin' wrong with this country

Let me clarify... I went to this particular university on a football scholarship to play ball and attempt to earn a degree (I always wanted to be a forensic pathologist). However this U was more or less like a giant fuckin cult. They were like love child's of warren Jeffs LDS and the 1700's purists (or whoever) that used to burn people at the stake at the first suspicion of sin... Gawd fawkin awful
