Redness and soreness away from injection site?

This is my first cycle and first pin. I have read and searched all I can about my symptoms and I can't to seem to figure out why this is happening AWAY from my injection site. It's aprox 3inches away from the injection and the red spot is rather large which I just got today. Very sore and it makes it hard to walk and bend over and it feels like I have been hit with a baseball bat and it is knotted up aswell. I can deal with the pain I just want to know if this is something I need Togo tithe doc about?

It seems like common symptoms from virgin muscle syndrome all except it's AWAY from the injection. It hasn't gotten worse and hasnt gotten better sincerhe injection (3 days ago)just redness appeared today about the size of a softball on my glute. Soreness and knotting is in muscle and not on skin. I do not get the spongy feeling or the indentation after I poke it with my finger like an infection or edema would do. I am new to test but I have been researching for about a year and been training and eating properly since 4 years ago and starte training when I was 14. Oh and of coarse stats.

5'10"
220 pounds
Around 10% Bf
Age: 23

I just need to know if this is common or should I go see a doc? Like I said I have searched and I have found symptoms but I can not find any saying away from the injection site. Injection site is still sore but not as sore as the red spot I have gotten on to my glute.

Oh and im injecting Test E at 250mg/ml at twice a week to give me 500mg a week. This is my first pin of the cycle. My 2nd pin is today and I'm doing other glute should I wait or go through with it?

Did you inject with a 1" needle? If you did you got the lump because you didn't inject deep enough into your muscle.

I injected with a 22g 1.5 inch so I think it went deep enough. I was thinking maybe the gauge was too big for a first time? But that still doesn't explain why it moved so far down.

Well took my 2nd shot today. Couldn't find any material in my gear or in syringe to be floating around. It may be the oil. The injection went smoothe and I had no problems and I went an worked out and my other glute is still sore and what not but I can work through it. Nothing sore yet. I put heating bad on 2nd injection site and we will see how that goes. Will update in the morning

And plasmic I'm injecting in upper outer quadrant of my glute and with 22g 1.5" . The actual injection site is very sore still but not hard and knotted like it is about 3 to 4 inches down and going towards my hip. I'll post a picture in the morning if it does not get better. I drew a circle around the red spot to see if it is growing or going away so we will see in the morning I suppose. If anyone has any other ideas of what is going on then please let me know. I wouldn't be posting if it wasn't so weird being that the redness and soreness dropped down and away from injection site which I couldn't find anything in my searches on why this happens or if it's common.

Ok 2nd pin is very sore the day after but nothing serious. Kinda like I have had a ffku shot but in my ass. 1st pin is not as sore today but still in a huge knot. So maybe it's just a bad reaction to the oils

Most likely. Oils in subq will float around slowly, may even split into multiple bumps while metabolizing. First time I tried ventro glutes I used a 1" and was not deep enough (or off location). I had an oil lump that was slightly itchy / hard / sore for at least a week before it was no longer noticeable. It grew a little over the first few days from inflammation, then slowly but surely metabolized away.

Rolling, massage, and a little heat helped a lot.
