This will be my log for the journey of 07. My main objective is the May 12th Figure Competition ‘Grand Prix all Natural’ … Treil & I will be competing side by side.

My log will be a bit more diet based as I get started & I plan flip the switch to training mode last week or two of January. I will be training up until the 6th then take a break for a few weeks from weights. I will eventually post my before pics & corresponding measurements/BF. I have no set plan for what I will do for training at this time and for the first few weeks, my focus will be clean eating & getting back in to My zone.

The structure will be like my other logs with a little added flava here & there … I like to use color b/c it helps organize things.

Eventually, my diet will most likely be clean, less processed foods, and the usual 40/30/30 breakdown … cals anywhere from 10 - 15 x BW … the latter when training bumps up a notch and/or when I train 2 x a day, which will come a little later.

My Supps will be the usual I use from the AF store, a few additions (like zma & BCAA, even casein if Im feeling frisky) as well as vitamins & minerals…. Some taken daily and others as needed.

That’s about it for now.. very bare bones layout with adjustments as needed, but a good friend reminded me that I don’t need a set plan to start anything … making it all the more real as I figure this out and you all will be there right with me along the way … Love You sis :rose:

Mood - Oddly calm, and now annoyed with my back & neck

Workout – I was bored. Tried to turn off my head saying “I don’t wanna be here” and just pushed through as best I could. Went to my old gym sans IPOD and was pretty annoyed with a lot of things there. The fact my left side is VERY weak compared to my right really gets to me. Even when NOT training. This became more noticeable after I began more compound lifts, not sure at this time what part that played.

Soreness – Neck has been tight & tensed for weeks now. Post workout have a pain in my right side, middle of my back, going to guess and say medial insertion of rhomboid major (?). Going to heat up towel in micro for neck & sit on my shiatsu Massaging cushion I got from my momma.

And I hear ya' on the "SANS IPod" and annoyance -- I hate it when my battery on the mp3 player runs out when I'm in the gym. Then I focus on posers walking around grunting, their bad form...

Lord help me when I get in there and see New Year's Resolutioners hard at killing their bodies! :lmao: *sigh* I'll go :p watching them.

Mood - Work related aggravation & Im not even in the office lol :splat: … I feel good otherwise. Watched the reruns of Biggest Loser and cried my eyes out. Saw Gunther in the audience at the finale lol :) I don't care if some people end up skinny fat or not, they bust their ass and inspired the h3ll outta me.

Workout – Got in what I could before I could let in the thoughts of ‘get me outta here…’ enter my brain. I was dead & dripping after 10 minutes on step mill.. called it a day

Soreness – Left knee was weird this morning.. think I walked it off, neck still tight will be sleeping on heating pad again… think I may go get some of those therma care heat things I saw on TV, back tender to touch from the shiatsu chair :rolleyes: , stop reading if you don’t wanna read TMI… felt odd cramping in my lower abdomen again lol I swear if I get my (.) again Im going to the doc. Had it on the 4th, then only 2 weeks later HEAVY now more PMS related sides… the alternative could be Cancer related but I am not going there, my blood work was fine and nothing like WHOA, not panicking just documenting ….

Diet - Clean but missed a meal due to poor planning... defrosting chicken now

Well that's great to know. :rose: The venue is closer to ohare, my condo is closer to midway. All depends on when you come and where you want to stay. There is a Marriot right behind my condo as well but I'd suggest the host hotel for the night after the show, kind of a hike back to my place but there's also more to do around my house then where the show is :) Email me to work out the details when ever you'd like :heart:

Workout – Day off from weights.. a little annoyed that YPT was not an hour as promised & I’m done with sessions :( … pretty pricey and $$ tied up elsewhere for quite some time… over it and ready to relax. I’m tired.

Soreness – Nothing but a stiff neck, heating pad and couchin’ it shortly.

Mood - I’m ok today. A little blah, not sure why, think I need to sleep. Haven’t been sleeping last two nights until 2 ish. Probably b/c Im coming off a 4 day weekend, have to readjust…

Workout – Day off from weights.. a little annoyed that YPT was not an hour as promised & I’m done with sessions :( … pretty pricey and $$ tied up elsewhere for quite some time… over it and ready to relax. I’m tired.

Soreness – Nothing but a stiff neck, heating pad and couchin’ it shortly.

It's going to be awhile unfortunately. I got a ride to work this morning. I think some peeps will go to my house to check out my car later (hopefully). Last night was rough! but I didnt turn to food to help so Im happy with that. I forgot my water bottle today :splat:

Diet - Been within cal range 10-12 x since the 1st, want a steak but don’t want to cook it and cannot go out to eat :chomp: .. totally wanted to have some wine & cheat meal but I conquered that craving :) Im so proud of myself.

Mood - Overwhelmed

Workout – This is depending on car resolution, may take another day off (which is NOT unplanned, workouts are few lately by choice b/c of ‘break’)

Soreness – Neck, Posture, blah … Need to look into those thermocare things still, nothing sore b/c I haven’t trained :rolleyes:

Splenda. How do you get it to dissolve. I put it in my ANPB & it makes it grainy. I use it in my coffee & it seems a little scummy.

Ive never had a problem with it. I also don't use it more much 'cept maybe oatmeal, and I can eat that just with berries now (proud of myself)

Last 2 weeks, we've only had a 3 day work week, this is the busiest time of year so no, im not lucky, lol. Trying to catch up AND get 2 weeks ahead of schedule b/c Im going to gone for a few days next week to tend to some things that need tending. :D

G'mornin! Great news about the car!! That crap happens to me, too. I've had this funky noise going on in my car for 3 years, but it never happens when we're at the shop! :lmao:

Im here! Just trying to catch up on work Ive missed for the last week.

Last minute $$ issues buckled my plans for half the 07 year SO trying to overcome THAT hurdle. I was about to drop out of school and back out of my show BUT... (the latter I could NOT do to Treil EVER and school, Im forcing myself to get through it.)

Training? Um not sure when Ill pick that back up, maybe end of month as planned, working on diet. I am so sick of chicken and broc it's not even funny. To think it's just shy of 4 months til comp and I can't stand it already lol ...this is going to be fun.

Thanks for the + vibes woman... a good friend told me today (amongst some other + things ... ) can't change it, it HAD to be done so not to dwell on it and make arrangements to get it handled in the days to come ... I went from like a 2 to an 8 (1-10 scale) in the matter of 10 seconds. :)

yeah he got jacked up... he's had his hip replaced to I think. he's not THAT old... :worried: worries me about lifting sometimes, I suppose genetics and history of issues like that may come into play though.

If you need some clean recipe ideas, I have a bunch that I make or have made in the past that work well on a clean diet. If I don't have something in mind, I have recipes very easily accessible! I'll save you from your chicken and broccoli rut, you poor thing! :Chef:
