I'm a long time wings fan...from when they used to really suck.

It's painful watching this year's series. I think they could be one of the few to win the next 4... but only if the other goalie becomes mortal and Cujo starts playing up to his damn salary.

Indeed. Although we're not doing much better than the Wings are. We're down 2-1 against a time we normally puree. Turco has been over in our net standing on everything but his head. And it doesn't help that Guerin and Turgeon are injured. :

It is estimated that the Wings lose about 70 Million when out of the playoffs.

We may be losing some talent too:

Fedorov may be gone.
McCarty may be gone.
Yzerman may be gone.

IMO, Cujo should be gone and we use Legacy. He is a great goaltender and deserves the shot. I'm not saying Joseph is the reason the we lost the series....there is one reason for that......The Ducks goalie. He wasn't human.

I think cujo is a great Goalie, but he is nearing the end of his career. That means, he either has to win with his team, or face being shuffled around the leauge.

i earned my "red wings'' years ago when i was younger, hornier and more subject to peer pressure than i am now.

the only thing i can recall now is that the taste was not unlike a warm, bloody mary, minus the tobassco sauce, of course.
