Red Wine

Liberator

New member
Is it true that Red Wine increases vascularity?

Is it also true some bb'ers use it prior to competition, like an hour before?

does it really make THAT much difference!!!

Just interested thats all, not like I personally am ever going to need it!!

No idea but I can tell you.....

I have heard a little about wine but I know an old Heavyweight friend of mine who used to compete in Scotland used to drink Brandy the night before to bring all his veins up, and it worked for him.

Just my two pence sterling.

Sheena.

I know by experience.

Let me tell you a story.

I've had a box of wine by now (3ltrs or i dunno how much in gallons, probably three quorters of a gallon or something) of lopez jimenez red wine, (its 11:10 in the morning btw.)

I drink usually four out of five days, and mostly red wine. My parents are wery badly vasculized. If you see what i mean, they are actually without visible veins.

BUT, when I drink red wine, the next day, my wascularity is way UP! Its very good! And i feel strange, like i'm a bit dizzy, but i dont feel bad, just a bit fuzzy kinda way.

Anyway, lots of wine is good for you, and i just had a drink of glucerol (glycerol fuel by twinlab), so i'll keep you posted on the results if i dont fall asleep.

Keep ut the good work ppl. Greetings from scandinavia! Come visit us on ur hollidays! Its nice here!

I can just see someone slurring this speech past an officer after he gets pulled over. :D

It dehydrates you. Thats why you get the increased vascularity.

Wrong. Wine, all alcohol technically, is a vasodilator. It opens up your veins and capilaries. This is why you typically feel warmer after drinking. Because you have increased blood flow. To answer the original question: Yes, it's true that bodybuilders drink wine before shows. I've done two and both times I've drank wine prior to stepping onstage. Niacin is also a good vasodilator to use. Particularly in conjunction with wine.
