RED SOX WIN biatches

sweed

Elite Mentor
Platinum
12-3 against the Pirates
still a few games behind the gay Yanks, but they are gay and we will win the World Series.

great, glad to good red sox fans at least can have satisfaction in the little meaningless victiories.

because when it comes down it, the yankees will end up crushing your hopes and dreams yet again this year. just like...well, every year.

maybe instead of investing in more players the red sox should invest in a time machine because that's the only way they will ever see a world series

p.s. i'm not a yankees fan

this is boston's year, i can feel it. pedro, schilling is gonna be tough to beat in the post season, then they got wakefield with that awesome knuckler and then offense with manny, ortiz and now nomar and trot are back. oh my, i just know this is the year

LOL...

Did you hear what Pedro did at Yankee Stadium yesterday? He apparently walked down from the stands while the Yankees were warming up and started chanting...*Derek Jeter* over and over again. The players warming up, turned around, saw him, kind of laughed and kept on throwing. He then hopped over the wall, hung out by the hitting cage, spoke to Matsui (never knew he was fluent in Japanese) and left.

lol, what a wack!

He's a dick. They kept showing him on YES talking to the crowd over the dugout late in the game. Between him and Manny, I don't know who disrespects the game more..

Yea, I saw that too. I also saw he flashed the crowd for a second by lifting his windbreaker. I don't think it was all that bad. His shirt underneath probably said..."2005, Pedro a Yankee"

Manny is a lazy piece of shit.

I think the worst part of it is that his team was getting their teeth knocked in by their worst enemies and he is out having a ball. What a dick. I was listening to the latenight guy on 1050am and he he was commenting on how it's that type of attitude (and Manny's overall tude) that will cause the Sox to never win a WS. The old Yankees (96 and on) were not chock full of sick hitters (like Manny), but they had the classic Yankee attitude: work hard, shut your mouth, and give it 110%. The Sox will never have that class.

what are you talking about? Those yankee teams had bats. Tino martinez in his prime, paul o'neill, strawberry still being productive, bernie in his prime (plus all the guys they traded for like cecil fielder, david justice). They always did a mid season trade for a big bat.

the yankees just have more talent and more post season confidence.

Were any one of those guys as good a hitter as Manny? I am not saying that they didn't have bats. I guess my point was that the Yankees did not simply win based on talent alone - they created an atmosphere of class, respect, and hard work that flowed out onto the field.

<cough> 4-2 <cough>

The 4 B's...

1. Bambino
2. Bucky Dent
3. Boone
and now
4. Broken glove of Ortiz.

7.5 games back

What a friggin game that was! Very exciting. And Sheffield's fist pump was probably the greatest thing I have ever seen (besides Jorge's fist pump after sliding into second in Game 7 last year....)

The greatest thing I have ever seen was this one time in Belize, there was this girl who could.....uhhh, nevermind, wrong thread.

Yea, great game. Could have gone either way. Ortiz makes that play and who knows what the outcome would have been? I thought we were DOOMED when Heredia came in, no outs and bases loaded.

I liked the ending with the fans chanting; "We want Pedro!!". I'm trying to get tickets for tonights game.

I am speechless after attending that game lastnight. Holy shit - that game had more things happen than I can remember. The AL East is officially won.

I agree, one of the best games I have seen played between these two teams.

Amazing....

And what sucks is thatthe goddamn Post doesn't have the story as I guess the papers went to print before the game ended! (ALthough I just found out CT dropped its newspaper tax, which was ridiculous in the first place..)

Lets go PATS and Sox!!

God damn right GO PATS AND SOX !!!! Both teams are going all the way this year! Pats especially with them having Corey Dillon... Finally a running game to help Brady carry some of the load... Pats are 2-0 and are going to keep winning.

Also, I am from boston and I live less than 2 miles from E. Wilson and Ty Law. They are both good guys especially when we go out with them and the pay for all the bar tabs :) Oh, if you are wondering how I know them I detail all there cars.

FUCK THE YANKEES!

I think yanks are going down tonight...Shilling is a monster

He looked like a deer in headlights to me... Maybe he shouldn't have opened his big mouth in the press conference!! It must be something in the water in Boston that makes people say shit they can't back up!!! I'm glad he got his tits lit!!!

Wow! game 7....to come back from a 3-0 deficit...i tip my hat and call the Red Sox my Papi~

GO RED SOX!!!! !!!

Too bad the only things that flowed on to the field tonight were baseballs and trash, from the Yankees fans
