Oh no I'm not blind to that at all.

I think you forget who you are speaking to here. I've worked personally with George on dfifferent ways to promote the site. I wrote a PM on e-flirting to try an promote the gift certificate system.

I've paid hundreds of dollars to the site in membership fees for myself and other members.

I've supported the sponsors of this site to the tune of $1000+.

I've welcomed EF members in to my home when they visit from other cities.

I've attended larger EF meetups with multiple members.

I've made some genuine friends from this site who I keep in contact with a regular basis off of the boards.

I have been critical of the site at times, but always supportive, although not blindly.

What you are doing is nothing new. I'm well liked, but not by everyone. But who wants to be liked by everyone? Not me. I try to associate with the genuine, honest, and intelligent people of the board, and there are many of them.

The funny thing is, I cannot recall ever once discussing karma or bombs with a member in person. Its just not something significant in most people's lives.

I got a great karma message (green) from Samoth aka Samote the other day. I hope he doesn't mind me posting it, but I think it sums things up pretty nicely

Key word there bro is "GAME" Karma GAMES. This is why you don't see it on any other forum except C&C, its a game, and the sooner you come to accept that, the better your life will be. I can only recall hitting you with green once. Why? I don't like most of your posts, especially the ones directed at me, they are generally negative and derogatory. How many times have I bombed you? Not enough.

How many red hits have been to platinum members? Maybe 2-3 in the last week. I try not to hit platinum members for two reasons.
1) a red hit does not leave a bomb on a platinum member
2) platinum members support the site which I respect.

I leave 10% red hits to non plats too, the goal for me is not to detract from the karma, that is an unfortunate side effect, the goal is to leave a bomb and a message.

Why does my plat alter bomb?
Because that was WHY IT WAS CREATED! I actually setup that account over the phone with admin, I said exactly why I wanted the account. The response was "<laughter> you guys are eating this bomb shit up!"
