Red Bull

Hi there

I drink Red Bull sugar free about 30 mins prior to working out, is this normal and will it affect any part of my BB routine?

Also does anyone else use red bull or energy drinks as part of their routine?

if you need it for the energy boost why not

personally I would never make a habit of it because eventually I would feel like I couldn't lift without...maybe just me though....plus they're like 2 bucks a pop
 
Foods with high carbs will work just as well. My best workouts are when I eat a big bowl of pasta about 2 hours before a workout. It seems to carry me through a lot longer than any energy drink. They only last about 30 minutes.
 
I drank the sugarfree redbull about three times, on an empty stomach, before cardio... just to see if the effect was the same as the big cup of coffee...

my observation: go with the coffee: Cheaper and more bang for the buck (while on a big cup of coffee I feel like I could run a marathon a day).
