Rebounding from antiphsychotic weight gain , what to use

depressedbruh

New member
i had depression throughout my teenhood due to my abusive father .. etc.
Doc prescribes me Prozac first , then changes it to Seroquel , In quite high doeses , ive been taking them for a good 4 years ... i took amisulpride last , and then stopped 4 months back since i got better.

The amisulpride made my prolactin levels high and my T Levels were around 220.

A month after i stopped , i felt more energy ... but

its left me with a terrible physique ... currently im 92Kg atm , (height 5'11) ... and with terrible love handles , and BF Of around 35% or more... i started lifting and focusing alot on my diet and workout .. high intensity cardio workout 4 days a week together with weights ... now its been the 5th month , and i hardly see any progress in my BF level , im around 90kg despite the extended cardio and low carb high protein diet ... its making me depressed.... ive tried taking lipo 6 black .. im 90 now. bench around 60kg atm.

Ive researched on AAS , and i hope you guys gimme ur opinion ... if you were in my situation , what would you cycle? should i go with clen to help me with the fat loss and love handles? or since my T levels are low should i do Maybe test , or dbol ?

Thnx in advance bruhs.

Since your T levels are down I would I focus on fixing that.
Two approaches;
1) try to increase natural production
2) go with testosterone/TRT

But it depends, how old are you?
Do you have the means to freeze your sperm if you want kids down the line?
Talk to your doc, check total testosterone and free testosterone along with LH, FSH & SHBG.
If your low your doctor should help you out. (I know some don't, but if he won't help then what argument does he use?) if you don't agree then change doc.

And for gods sake, never use shit like seroquel again unless you're a schizo. For anxiety and depression there are much better drugs out there!
I mean stay away from all neuroleptic drugs, they are overprescribed 'cause they lack abuse potential but they have side effects, some of which you have discovered. If used, they should only be used short term, or as a last resort when dealing with psychosis & delusions.

thnx for the reply bro . Im 23 yrs this year and i heard trt has a chance of shutting natural sperm production completely , i would'nt really want that to happen right now though :/ .
i would never take any of those drugs again , they've left me in a bit of a worse situation right now , ppl make fun of me cuz the love handles .. ..

these are my results 4 months back...

Cortisol : 554.1
FSH : 1.58
Prolactin : 116.80
Testosterone(total) : 220
Free T4 : 1.33
LH : 3.07

at the time my doctor suggested to stop taking amisulpride.. thats all he said...
should i run a new test , maybe try TRT? would clomid help sperm prod. ?
thnx man .

Oh shit, please post those numbers again with denominations. Need to know how it's measured.
Those values seem to point to pituitary problems if the measurement is what I'm used to.

What does the lab test say, is it measured in IU/L for LH & FSH?
What about the total testosterone?

I'll guess and say it's IU/L for LH & FSH, which means that while they are within normal range, they are low when seen compared to the testosterone level.
Have you checked estrogen?

Cortisol: 554.1 mol/L
FSH : 1.58 IU/ml
LH : 3.07 IU/ml
prolactin : 116.80 ng/mL
Testosterone(Total) : 2.20 ng/ml
Free T4 : 1.33 ng/dl

sorry about not posting the denominations .. my bad.. . and estrogen , nope , but .. i do have a bit of gyno , and my lower body weight is not proportional to the upper body either.....

Glancing at the numbers I wonder if I miscalculate some conversions. Can you post the stated reference ranges on the tests?
I see free testosterone is indeed low, even under 2,9ng/ml

I think you would be a solid candidate for TRT

With such a low total testosterone you'll end up depressed, fat, fatigued and a very high increase of heart attack/disease.
So you need to do something.
SERMs like clomid may increase test by increasing LH, (are you sure those LH values ain't IU/L? ) but I think you'll need testosterone replacement.

Fertility is an issue, but with the proper therapy of hCG & maybe even HMG it usually goes well.
And if the alternative is low testosterone levels from age 23 then the improvement in quality of life should outweigh the risks IMO.

i did a blood test today (just total T Level ) ,
Total Test Came back 282 ...

i feel its highly unlikely i get TRT prescribed , since doctors here would probably tell me to increase levels naturally... im definetely around 25% BF right now even though i see some muscle gain over the past 5 months ..

what do you guys recommend? would running T on my own help ? is it wise of me to do so right now? im not really sure , just trying to reduce BF and gain some muscle... after a disaster with antiphsychotics.. .

Thanks. :)

If they tell you to increase your T levels naturally, my question would be: "how shall I do that exactly?"

I mean, yes there are some ways to manipulate T naturally, but it's not something we normally say is under your control.

I can imagine your doctor may be reluctant to start TRT when you are so young, but consistent low T on blood tests show you need it. HCG may keep you fertile, or at least make it easier to regain fertility on stopping TRT or adding HMG.
I wouldn't take any "no" for an answer without some real explanation AND a real alternative to deal with your symptoms.

And as a tip for the future, giving yourself the nickname "depressedbruh" and sounding depressed is self defeating. I understand you're in a dark place right now, but things change. You could have called yourself anything and we would still have tried to help you out.

I'm just trying to warn you that labeling yourself depressed make it easier to keep being depressed. And some people may even avoid you cause they think you're just seeking negative attention. Not saying that is the case with you, and we all get that way a little when we are depressed, but try to resist. Remember how many things you actually should be grateful about. My mood goes up and down as well, but if I manage to be thankful for all the positive in my life then it gets easier to fix the negative.
