I think it benefits all inmates, guilty or not.
A life sentence without parole is death sentence. Its just a matter of time and until then you get to be raped, dehumanized attacked and if you are lucky murdered.
If by some god awful chance an innocent man is convicted of life without the possibility of parole it would me sadistic to make him live in that enviornment for the rest of his life.
If somene murders another person, they deserve to die. And they should be executed as soon as possible. They should not be allowed to hurt society more by having tax payers pay to keep their worthless ass in prison for 50+ years.
If some innocent guys gets stuck with a life, at least give him the humane option of ending his life painfully.
There is no law for the world. All laws are made up by a society. When try to apply these intangible laws in reality, we end up with a big fucking disaster.
And the longer we force ourselves to believe they exist, the more fucked up it gets and more people suffer.
I cannot think of any more of a cruel and unusual punishment than imprisoning an innocent man to a place where he is tortured every day and Knows that this is the rest of his life until the day he dies and gets put out of his misery.
