really need help!!!

guys, i'm about to go on some gear and i need help developing a routine that really works... i hear some say hit everything once every 5 days and others say once a week and some say low reps and others high reps... how often should i hit each muscle andwhat reps and sets of specific muscles should i use??? please help i look at pictures of you guys and am like "what the f- am i doing wrong???"
 
just bumping myself... please give a brother some help because i'm way behind you guys -6'1 212... in good shape, but long arms and stuff so not really big (more like an athlete than a bodybuilder)... i'm fortunate in the sense that i've gotten to talk to jose and tito ramon (who go to my gym once in a while -when home in mass) and they know their stuff, but you feel bad asking them too much (you know)...
 
You know, workout routines are over-rated. If you eat right take the right supps and drugs any workout routine will work as long as you put your all into it. Base it around how much time you have and how many days you can get to the gym. I have always hit each body part once a week. I now do the whole body over four days because I have a job that I can only get to the gym two days during the week and on the weekend. When I had more time I did 5 days a week. Just come up with a good plan based on your other commitments and work hard when you are in the gym and you will be fine.
 
IF YOU CAN DO TEN REPS YOUR DOIN WARM UPS, BUMP UP THE WEIGHT SO YOU CAN ONLY GET 5-8 PER SET, AND I ASSUME YOUR BULKING.
 
Go with warmups then 3 sets of 6-8 for each major muscle (chest, back, etc)
2-3 Sets of 6-8 with smaller muscles (biceps, triceps, etc)

Dont neglect those abs!:)
