Ads on Elite for Sources or anything - READ

OK, listen up friends. Elite has Google Ads on this site and can not control the content that is posted in anyway at all. I believe that only non-platinum members can see the ads, but regardless I wanted to post this warning.

DO NOT Even bother clicking on any of the links regarding anabolics.

DO NOT under any circumstances ever order anything from any of these websites that are selling anabolics.

DO NOT ever and I mean EVER send a PM to a mod or member and ask information about anything that you wouldn't want the entire world to know. PMs are not safe or secure and by sending one you are jeopardizing your safety and the safety of the person you are sending it to.

When it comes to sources for anabolics, anyone and I mean anyone that has a website and actively markets that website to sell anabolics is more often than not a scammer. Now, I am not saying that they all are as I think there are a few that have sites, but they do NOT advertise.

Bottom line, I don't care if you are a vet or a newbie, always ask a mod via SECURE email for a source check. Give them what information you have and ask them what they think. Mods are not the end all solution, however they get so many requests they always have a better sense for what is going on.

The next thing you should do is check and see what kind of email the mod has by checking their profile. Most of us mods here at Elite have elitefitness hushmail accounts. ALWAYS send your secure email from they same kind of email the mod has. Reason is, if you have a yahoo, msn, or even a ziplip account and you send it to a hushmail it is not secure.

So lets say you don't have an elitefitness account but you need to talk to the mod, just sign up for free right here at Elite go to:

http://www.elitefitness.com/mail

Then send your mail off and the mod might actually respond to you because you took the time to ensure that your email was secure and private and of the right kind.

AGAIN never click on the anabolic ads here at Elite, never order from a website, and always do a source check before doing anything else. Be safe, smart and knowledgeable. Peace.

I've been telling to newbies to stay away from online sources but sounds like I've been talking to def ears. Some folks will never learn. They come to you asking if this or that is legit, you tell them to stay away and next thing you learn...... they got screwed by the very same online crap.

Glad I was able to put this up. I will update it with a few other things as we move a long. I just hope that people read it and don't order. Always do source checks and always use the same secure email as the recipient. A huge your welcome to you guys. Peace and stay safe.
 
Now it all makes sense. A buddy of mine (non-platinum) sent me a link to a website the other day. I asked him where he got it from and he said it was on EF and that George was promoting it. I was thining WTF George wouldn't do something like that. I did a search for the site on here and got back 2 threads. Now I can tell his dumbass that George nor EF is promoting shit like this!

Something like this should have been said from day 1, It would be awful if even one person got scammed.

This is supposed to be the premier body building message board, so the ads and what not you see on the site come with a certain level of credibility.

Again, not to harp on management, but I think this is a case where something should have been said BEFORE, for the protection of the users.
 
As the old saying goes, "A good legit source will never have the need to advertise their services. They have more than enough business without advertising. It's the one's that advertise for you to come to them that you should watch out for."
 
I'll probably get censored somehow for saying this, but these ads shouldn't even be here.

Yes, they're done through google, but obviously EF is in control of whether they have the agreement to post the google adwords here. EF just seems to be trying to benefit from the adwords service and is willing to overlook those ads until they can fix it. And that's a very optimistic view, I really hope a fix is being worked out and those scammer ads are no more. A legitimate business would not allow such advertisements to appear on their site, ever. They would make sure those ads were weeded out first before implementing the service if they wanted to retain some credibility.

Many dream... and many can achive... if you can drink enough dihydroxycut Oxide... you can go from a Kronk to a full blown Citruscide (Kind of like how Pokemon evolve... ) :)

Saying that you can go from a Kronk to a Citruscide is actually like saying you can go from current man to primate. :) I don't think these guys want to step back they want to go forward. A better analogy would have been "drinking Dihydroxycut Oxide can help you go from a Citruscide to a full blown Kronk, well that is if the product really works, ROFL!
 
thats what i was wondering i found a site with a message board and have been talking with them seems like a great bunch of guys so figured i might be on to a good thing until i checked some scammers lists and thought wtf so i pm the main mode and he had a good explanation .so im just gonna be very patient and continue to do my homework i dont have the time or money to be scammed

Yes, but as you should recognize (being the intelligent person you are)...there seems to be a great lack of common sense these days.
