Wow.. great post. I thought about taking accutane earlier this year. I got a small amount but not enough to do anything. I would up using B5 instead. It did a good job. I can't imagine the effects it would have had on me in the gym etc. I never had acne too bad until this year.. on my back. Its gone for the most part. I am happy with B5 at this point... esp after reading that story!

She is an extreme case I think, or maybe because it is a woman. I have been on and have a few friends go on as well and it was nothing like that. But then again everyone is different and may react differently.

I stopped reading after she reached a dose of 100mg/day. Then I even saw higher #'s than that as I scrolled down the page. Thats over twice as much as I was ever prescribed and Im a male. That doctor could be sued if he doesnt watch it.

yeah the dosage is excessive, depending on the doctor, they usually start with 40 mg and then increase to 80, or start you off roughly a 1mg/kg of body weight, which in my case i weighed 75 kg so he started me at 80 right away

They had me sign a waiver about using 2 forms of birth control at all times(I've got to admit that I don't follow this advice but then again I only use condoms as birth control and haven't gotten pregnant yet) and asked if I got pregnant would I have any problems with having an abortion (since accutane causes major birth defects in the fetus), I have no problems with abortion, one-I'm not ready to have a kid and two-I've already had 3 abortions in my lifetime.

Is it just me, or is this a bit inconsistant?

She's a fucking dumb female. I did 80mgED for 4 months straight. Acne cleared up to a perfect skin for 2 fucking years, and I had fine blood test results.

That bitch was excessive with her dosing. This is the same for gear users that don't know what they are doing, and do 500mgED of test, and then they die or something.

that fucking doctor sucks. I weight 180 and use 20 mg every 3 days and im clear of all acne, I cycle this dosages over 4 months periods and rest for 2-3 months, check my lipid profile and iM never better.
Sue that fucking doctor shit head.
