Re-sizing pics....help

Do you need photoshop to be able to resize pics, I have windows ME and was wondering if there are any programs that come with it that would do the job. I have a bunch of pics that are too big to post anywhere.

Windows doesn't have any photo tools do you have a DSL or Cable connection? If so down load Music City and go there and do a search on Photoshop.

windows does too...PAINT is on windows..it works fine.....
I use what comes with my scanner and cam though

NS, not sure if this will help much, but bouncer offered to do an avatar for me this week. All you have to do is send them to him and he'll resize them for you, assuming you don't have a whole shitload of them. You might shoot him a pm.

Unfortunately I am stuck with regular phone line
I have a web cam, didn't know there was software with it that could help. I've screwed around in paint but couldn't figure out how to resize.
Maybe it's true about how smart bodybuilders are...

Paint won't let you resize a pick, it will only let you crop it. To make a pick smaller and still maintain it's clarity, you need Photoshop or something similar.

A photo editor you can change the size and the type jpeg to gif and that is why sometimes when you get pics of say 2.3 meg (Paint) for example an adobe photo editor you can make the same pic 56k. That's why when you crop a pic on paint and it is still 2.3 meg in paint, your friend dump your pics, or say "I never got them or Yeah looks great!" but in reality they put them in the shit can beacause they don't want to wait 40min on the 56k modem for a pic.

Just get some shareware like ACDsee or Paint Shop Pro. Hunting for Photoshop just to resize pics is a little overkill.
